I had the iPad Air Smart Case and my problem was the magnetic was too weak. The case as a result felt too flimsy because it was really easy for the over to slip and slide open. The iPad Air 2 Smart Case has a stronger magnetic which keeps the cover in place. The Apple Smart Case is pricey but I highly recommend it

It is slim and convenient while providing protection for the iPad2. The red color helps to see upon what surface it's been set down. I wish the price was better but still selected this Apple product over others available in the store.
