I was never a fan of the tri-fold iPad cases. They just weren't flash enough for me. However after my last case broke and I decided to buy a new iPad, I ended up going this route. It's much better than I expected. The leather (maybe vinyl?) has a nice feel and is holding up nicely now after 2 months. I haven't noticed any creasing in the leather despite the fact that I am constantly folding the screen cover. The case itself doesn't seem like it would do much for drops, but it's actually more solid than it looks. Yes, technically the case is a bit flexible, but it fits snugly and looks like it could absorb the shock of a drop fairly well. The slim case keeps the form factor of the new iPad Air 2 very thin, which is nice when trying to read books one handed, or placing it inside of a cramped book bag. All around, despite the relatively high price, the construction is of very high quality and will probably go this route the next time I need a new case.

I like the fact that the smart case is thin and light weight but still provides plenty of protection for my IPad Air 2. Also like that it guns the iPad on and off when you open and close the cover.

I bought this because it's the closest to a cover for my $380 iPad (not the Pro). Don't understand why Apple did not create a cover for this model specifically. Everything doesn't line up as much as it should (charging in particular) but the case works fine and does what it needs to do.

Love my smart case. Auto shut off when closed, wake when opened is great. Front cover folds and supports tablet in an upright position. This is handy when using in the kitchen for following recipes during cooking, or watching a show or movie while cooking. Great investment!

The smart case has proved to be a wonderful way to protect my iPad. It also makes it easier to carry it around with me wherever I go. My only complaint is that it does not allow me to use an earphone. Due to the thickness of the case it does not go into the port cleanly.

I purchased this I pad case to go with my new I pad. The color is very soft and pretty. I took off a star because inside of the leather case it is the suede side. I feel like over time the edge around the case on the inside will get very dirty from holding the I pad. I did exchange it for a black one.

Great product. Overpriced though. Stand feature is great and rarely falls over. Sometimes using tough screen gets the magnet to come apart and the pad falls over but nothing major.

I reviewed several cases and settled on this one. It provides the protection I was looking for also adding the benefit of turning on my iPad. Plus it doesn't add any bulk to my iPad, easy to handle.

This is a great slim case for the iPad Air2. The magnet in the cover turns the iPad on and off, as expected, but also allows the cover to fold to prop up the iPad in two different orientations. It also holds the cover to the back of the case for one handed reading.

Initially I purchased a cheaper case (store brand) that seemed better and it fell apart within a month. We both now have Apple cases on our iPad2 and iPad Air2 and they are great to use and tough. Sometime saving money on a product isn't really saving money.

This case provides good all around protection, easy access to all iPad functions. It is sleek, light and enhances the slimness of the iPad Air 2.

I like to sit on couch and use my IPad and this case is awesome. Magnetic cover can be positioned to stand or lay at slight angle. It doesn't slip and is the best case I have used with any of my other IPads. Highly recommend. Leather also looks and feels great!!

I love this case. I had one for my first get iPad Air and this one in blue is the same. Holds together very well when treated rough and maintains it's color very well. Only gripe is the magnets are a little weak for when it's opened and folded backwards.

The smart case is, by far, the best case available to fully protect the iPad Air 2. It fits the iPad snugly with the cutouts in all the right places. It is made of quality leather, with attractive soft inner lining. The Apple logo on the back is a nice touch.

Works great as a stad or as an angled lay flat. Also provides better grip when holding it with 1 hand. Of all the cases out there this is the one unless you need extra protection from drops or water.

Looks professional, provides protection for the iPad, easily fits my purse and folds to make a stand. A gift card from the iPad purchase made this a great buy.

I love the soft and slim feel of this case. It's practically like holding it without a case. At first I thought the material would scratch easily but it has not, and I let a 4 year old play with my iPad all the time. Totally recommend this case for iPad.

This case is amazing. It completely covers the ipad keeping it safe and clean for when you resell the device. it also is great for proping up the device up to watch media. The leather is soft and feels nice. Not cheap, but a very impressive case.

I got this case as it doesn't add materially to the thickness of the iPad Air 2. It offers the minimum amount of protection you would want. It's still easy to carry and use and it puts the device to sleep when you close the case.

I loved color, but when you close cover, it doesn't always shut off I pad. You have to make sure you have a timeout on your settings, or else you will run battery down. Cover is a lot thinner on the iPad Air, than previous covers I had gotten for original iPad. Needs to be thicker I think.
