I like apple products in general. They get the job done as advertised. This one is one different. Like I said before, it doesn't hold the iPad air up as well as the old model did for the iPad2.

Durable and plain. Has somewhat of a no slip grip.

The case is a perfect fit for the tablet as would be expected from the same manufacturer. The case does keep the tablet protected and without adding any extra bulkiness. The profile is why I bought the tablet in the first place and this case keeps it to its intended profile and size. As a stand for the tablet the case is almost ineffective. The design implies that the case should work as a stand but the function is less than desirable. As a case for protection I would rate it a 5 Star for the stand function I rate it a 1 star. The case is so low profile that it can still be used with other stands and maybe that was the intent. The instructions do not say it should the stand tablet up.

Perfect fit, nice features, good material and look

My I-pod tends to get very hot when out in the sun, where I take it to read. Sometimes, too hot to hold. This case is great in that it protects it from any of the sun's glare, sand if I'm at the beach and it actually keeps it cool enough for me to hold, so I can read outside. I hadn't expected that. Nice surprise....

Works really well as a stand and for keyboard use.

This product is not perfectly fitting on iPad and when you do little incline iPad, you will find 1-2 mm gap in between iPad surface and cover and it's look so ugly. So don't recommend this product & apple team needs to work on it.

I'm not at all impressed with this cover. It does not fold up and stay in place to provide a good stand at all. About all it's good for is keeping the screen covered when not in use.

After a nicer cover failed, as the openings did not line up, A simpler one was ordered and is functioning fine. It serves as a practical cover for my new ipad air. Best Buy extended apologized for sending the initial cover.

For those that want their iPad to be as thin as possible, yet with a little front end protection, this is essential. It is mostly for grown ups, wouldn’t trust an ipad with this front cover to kids.

The case itself is very good at protecting the pad from scratches. However the front flap on occasion does not fit fully on the case causing the pad not to sleep and draining the battery.

This cover is magnetic and adheres to the edge of the iPad. It does on occasion pop off. I am used to a cover that goes around the entire iPad. Getting used to though.

I checked out several options for stands and most were either too big or heavy to the point that they would impact the portability of a tablet. I think this product balances the trade off between usability (as a stand) and portability.

I recently bought this case as I upgraded to an iPad Air from an iPad 2. The case fits great, feels great, and looks great. My only gripe is that the three panel design is just not as sturdy as the four panel design of the previous smart covers. I'm getting used to it though and would still recommend this case.

Like most Apple accessories, this fits just like it was made for it. it is great quality and lightweight. The design is thin but still has great protection, especially for the delicate corners. The cover folds back to allow the iPad to be put in "picture frame mode". Overall I would highly recommend this.
