Thought I would like this one that everyone uses but for me I wanted one that protected front and back. Returned and purchased one with a little more protection.

i love this case in black, but i would be hesitant to rate it higher for any of the colored cases. i have the iPhone case in red, and dirt and oils from regular use show very easily, making the product look overworn.

Its ok for what it is. I also have the zagg skins which give good all around protection for the same price. I still use both though which keeps the slim form factor

I have had 3 ipads. Two of them had/used the 4 fold Smart Covers, which I very much liked. One of the reasons I bought the iPad Air was weight, so the Apple Brand Smart Cover made sense as it is one of the lightest covers I've seen. However, the three fold design is greatly lacking. I really do not like it in the typing position. I find that unlike the 4 fold, when in typing position on my lap it will not stay open and often collapses on itself. I really wanted to like this cover but simply can't. I actually bought one the day I bought the air, tried it for two weeks and returned it and bought a third party case that only weighed a couple of more ounces than the cover. Still wanting to take advantage of the lightweight properties of the air, I asked my family to get me this cover for Christmas to give it another try. Again, after two weeks I knew I would never be happy with this cover and returned it.

Works great as a cover. Doesn't shut off iPad when closed, could be because screen glass was replaced. I like the multi-angle stops it offers

I wish it was a few mm thicker. It seems a little thin. Good for dust and basic dirt but was looking for something a little more study with the same flexibility.

I have tried many different Ipad cases but always come back to the genuine apple cases. Love the soft leather and how it feels. Also protects the back of the Ipad completely. If I have one complaint its the price.

Overall it's good and it protects it properly but the only problem I have is when you roll up the cover to use as a stand, sometimes it doesn't stay and if you're viewing something in landscape it falls back.

This cover should cost less than half of what it does, but it works well and the fact that it turns the tablet off when covered and wakes when removed makes it worth the price from a functionality standpoint.

The apple cover looks really nice but my only complaint is that sometimes when you are closing the cover, it will automatically separate from the iPad and you have to put it on again.

Expensive. Limited viewing angles. Headphones that aren't new and designed for tablets won't plug in. Light and fits well. I'm looking for a different one.

Compared to my second generation iPad cover this feels like cheaper leather although the design is better with better angles for stand alone function.

The iPad Air Smart cover is great. It's nice to be able to turn off the screen without having to physically turn it off, just closing the cover on the screen causes it to shut off magnetically and that's great for people who sometimes forget to turn off the screen.

This cover just covers the front of the iPad. It does keep it thin. The smart feature really is a nice plus. The only issue is that it stays on only by a magnet is it can be removed really easy.

I like the idea behind this product, but the magnet doesn't hold tightly and it's always falling off. It does hold my iPad at a decent angle for use.

Great way to protect the screen from scratches from day to day uses. Stongoing magnet covered in felt so it doesn't scratch the side of the ipad. Multiple positions is great. Good buy

This is going to be short and sweet: iPads should come with this screen protector in the box. Simple as that. It works great and I am not going to try and explain how versatile it is. I will say that once you put it on, you can't go back!

Needed a case for the iPad Air immediately, this was the best option at the time. There are more options now available at Best Buy. It's too expensive relative to other similar products, it's Apple!

We bought this as a cover for our 9 year old grandsons IPad. Unfortunately, we did not realize it was only one sided, and not actually a two sided cover. Very unusual design ~ it is magnetized to fit on the iPad, however, we couldn't ever line it up properly, and it kept falling off. I now know why it was on clearance, and it is going back. Unusually bad Apple design.

Great cover for the iPad Air while keeping the overall profile thin and light. One issue I did find is that it's not as sturdy as my Smart Cover for the iPad 2 when it's folded up into a stand.
