Nice simple cover for an IPad. It's not a case, so if you want more all over protection look elsewhere. This is a simple screen protector which also doubles as an incline stand while in landscape mode. Overall, if you are looking for a functional, simple cover that doubles as a stand this is a great purchase.

Nice color, effectively turns iPad on and off with open close. Can be flimsy as a stand or detach easily.

I bought this for my sister because I have one just like it but in red and it has been a vey god case, I've had mine for 2 years and still looks like new.

There are cheaper imitations but this is worth the expense. It fits, lays flat, the soft interior of the cover is much nicer than the knockoffs. It protects the screen without the bulk of a case. I sometimes pair it with a thin soft cover compatible back shell that I got online. I didn't like the color but bought because it was on sale - ended up loving it with my Space Grey Air 2.

My iPad was a big investment. It makes perfect sense to keep it safe. The blue looks rich with my gold back. This is the answer I was looking for.

I use my iPad traveling a lot and this cover works great both for protection and setting up anywhere.

My kids broke the last one but this product offers an added protection for my iPad. Can't do without it.

I have two of these and they are great. They only reason not five star is that they are a little pricey

I was looking for something that maintained the form factor of the iPad. Since Apple made it, it obviously fits with perfection. If you're looking for something that will withstand drops this isn't it but if you were careful with your iPad and want to maintain the look and feel of how it was designed the smart cover is exactly what you're looking for.

Second cover, red got nasty looking after a year of heavy travel, black should be a better choice.

I purchased this Smart Cover because it is easy to install and by opening the cover turns the IPad on and when closed turns it off. With the back of the iPad exposed it does leave the slick surface exposed to the touch.

This is the only case you should consider for the iPad. So much so that it is kinda silly that it doesn't just come with the purchase of the ipad, even if that meant raising the price accordingly. Black is a good choice for color as it fades into a cool looking grey and repels spills and stains pretty well.

Good cover. Expensive. Wish Apple made the back silicone case for the air2. Love the back case for the mini4. This front cover is great though.

I bought this for my.mothet as she watches my kids frequently and I wanted to protect the iPad I had bought for her. It is light and does the job.

The cover provides the protection that my iPad needs. Had one on my old iPad and it worked great.

I tried 3rd party covers before, there's just no comparison. Apple covers are super-useful if you want to keep the device light and accessible.

Purchased this cover for my new iPad Air 2. Not reading carefully, it doesn't cover the back of the iPad. I love the color. It works perfectly.

This case is made by Apple for Apple devices which is always a good thing. I finally decided on this case because it offered the best protection for the device but not too much bulk. It's a great case but the price point is a bit high. I believe that it could be a bit cheaper than it is currently.
