Got an open box deal for a fraction of the price. The smart cover is good with the magnetic attachment and closure, but I have the smart case, and usually leave that on, as it isn't too much more bulk and offers a lot more protection from scratches and drops. Both the cover and case have the same folding-stand design.

This is a great Smart Cover for the iPad. I also bought one for my mini and my granddaughter took it from me. It is good because it keeps the iPad light and can be easily removed for picture taking . I highly recommend it. It keeps the screen from scratches during transport.

Apple genuine accessories have a definite edge in quality comparing to 3rd party ones.

I exchanged a different brand iPad cover for this Apple brand cover. I am happy I did. The cover is very light, adding very little weight to the tablet. The fit is secure and the product came in a multitude of colors. Application was quick and effortless.

Since this case is made by Apple, it fits the iPad Air perfectly. Excellent access to the Lightning port, headphone jack and camera. The sleep / wake feature also works well and the feel of this case is premium.

I've always had a Smart Cover, so when I got this new iPad Air 2 I was prepared for how well it works as a cover, but not happy with choice of colors (they're all too bright, and the black is really grey) or with the 3 fold design. My old one had a 4 fold which was much sturdier when in the standup mode. It works though.

This is a handy cover for my ipad air. Very versatile and lightweight. Great product.

Although this cover is designed to protect it from drops, it is a great screen protector.
