The Apple designed smart cover does exactly what it is intended to do. I like that it completely covers and protects the whole iPad except for the screen. The only drawback about this cover is the price. $75 to $80 seems a bit high considering there are plenty of other options around. The cover also looses its rigidity with continued use and this can make the iPad tip over in different positions.

Okay cover to protect screen but comes off to easy. Cover is very light weight but offers no protection to I-Pad if dropped.

This cover definitely protects the glass, yet is thin enough to keep the i-pad streamlined and light weight. I use it in conjunction with a clear plastic cover for the back.

This iPad case works really well to protect your iPad while still keeping it looking great. It does cost a bit and won't protect it from big drops though. I would recommend that you get this case if you use your iPad for yourself and not for kids. It should also be known that some headphone jacks can't be plugged into this case because they made the cutout small. You can fit smaller plugs (i.e. Apple EarPods and Bose headphones) but some jacks with larger plastic casings on them won't work.

Case is sturdy but don't fold the cover completely when opening the case to use the iPad for the first month or else you will start to see the iPad come out the case on one side. After though it's fine.

Have had this case for about 6 months and use my iPad pretty heavily. However, it seems to be showing some wear at the creases/bends of the cover. I do like that it automatically puts iPad in sleep mode.

Very new and innovative cover. Magnetizes to hold to your ipad. Doesnt make your ipad become bulky like some of the other covers/cases in the past. The only thing I was disappointed in is that it doesnt protect the back of your ipad. I may rethink and get the smart case instead of the cover. I really dont want the back of my ipad exposed as much as it is with this cover. Cool product though!

Love it, despite it being that polyurethane and not leather version, but it does its job of putting the screen to sleep, passively protecting the screen while traveling around. I just have to say that my main gripe is that when you grip it once it's folded, getting your hands on the inside is all too easy. Thus you'll have grime and whatnot transferred to the screen. Using baby wipes (no joke) is recommended on the inside; however I can't say that I fully trust that recommendation.

This cover is good. It is lightweight and fits the Air perfectly. Open it and the AIr is on. Close it and the Air is off.

The case looks perfect. it maintains the sleek lightness of an ipad air and doesn't come across as over-engineered like so many cases do these days. no cheap plastic bits, or bulky/tacky swiveling mechanisms. just a simple good looking case. I did not buy an ipad air case right away because I wanted to wait for the perfect one - but they don't make such a thing apparently, so I gave in and bought this. I don't have the same style aesthetic as whoever chooses the cases that best buy decides to keep in stock (other than this apple one). mostly what the store offers is too ugly and/or cheap looking. this one looks expensive - and is expensive. so literally in that sense, you get what u pay for. the cover does not magnetize as well as earlier incarnations of this case did. but it's functional. and the new three panel cover doesn't make for a very sturdy stand, but if u experiment with folding it both ways, you'll find the one that works best. the most perpendicular position is the most unstable, but that is the one I never use, so it doesn't bother me. I don't regret the purchase, but it's not for everyone. be realistic about what u use your ipad for when choosing a case. I use mine at home on the couch mostly or at the table replacing my newspaper. the most important things to me were protection from dings/scratches, simplicity/lightness and style. so this was a good choice for me in the end.

The cover is designed well and works well with iPad. I personally wouldn't consider the color as pink however. It's looks more orange than pink to me.

My what's great about it describes the case. Not much more to say about the case. The case cover can also fold to create a stand. Very simplistic but works OK, especially on an airplane. Occasionally the stand collapses during turbulance because there is not any type of magnet to hold the cover in place. This is my first IPAD (or any tablet) I have owned so I have no history to compare.

I love this case, because it turns off the iPad when the case it closed. It protects the iPad and is a great color!

Works as advertised in turning the iPad off and on. Feels good in our hands and fits perfectly. I took off one star because of the suggested retail price, which is on the high side for a simple case.

i like the Smart Cover on the Air 2 to keep the thin light design function. Performs well as cover and view stand.

Fits ipad air 2, flush with screen, Love the new pink tone, sleep wake function works perfectly, fits well with other brand ipad back cases, isn't cheap or flimsy

The apple case is great! Comes with front and back protection and at the same time keeping your tablet thin and light

Perfect cover to protect my iPad screen. Easy to install and use but do prefer the original Smart Cover connector

This case is perfect for the iPad air. I didn't mind spending a little more to get the correct case. Actually took first case back and exchanged it for the smart case

I have been using these for a long time the are the lightest and easiest cover to use just wish they were cheaper
