Original apple case is made of real leather and complements the ipad air perfectly. The best part about the case is that it keeps the case light and auto sleep functions works great. The only downside is the high price and that the stand is not very ideal.

I find this cover harder to use the prop-up feature than my old one. Also the red is too intense and bright. I would prefer navy or a dark red like my old one but those weren't available..

I have these on all our iPads it's a great basic cover and keeps the screen protected and doubles as a small stand

I had one of these smart covers for my iPad mini. Wanted another when I upgraded to iPad Air. Protects my Air without bulk and makes a simple but effective stand.

This cover works great with the iPad as you might expect. It's multiple uses (screen protection, stand, on/off) make this a worthwhile companion to your iPad.

At first, I thought this might not work for me. But the more I got used to the Apple Smart Cover, I recognized the value. To be clear, this is not "bunker" protection like I have on my phone. If you need heavy duty protection, spend more. For me, this does the job. It has a firm fit on my iPad Air, and I appreciate the secure magnetic hold when closed. Also shuts down the Air upon closing, powers back up when when opening. Protection for the screen is very obvious.

This cover looks nice, its slim so doesn't make tablet bulky, like the option that when you open it, it gets off sleep mode or vise versa!

It keeps the iPad light and protected at the same time but the first one I got lasted only 2 years.

The only cover you should consider for the iPad. This is my second one in 4years, they hold up and protect the screen, what more could you want!

Cover has a slim and simple design. Always fits correctly with no hassle. Would like to see more color choices and designs. Overall very happy with the cover.

I love the case. But if you're like me and want to use your ipad in bed, the stand part of it doesn't work well unless on hard surfaces. For the same price you can buy a belkin but most of those 3rd party products have snap in plastic. I don't like the snap in plastic because they tend to scratch the ipad, and when you go to sell it later on, it'll bring down the price. So I went with this because of the perfect fit and I like how the whole ipad is covered.

After trying a couple of other cases for my iPad, I purchased this one. It's slim and lightweight, and when I need to remove ithe case, it's not difficult.

I bought this cover for my iPad Air, my third iPad, to protect the glass. I looked at quite a few others before choosing this one and think it has the best overall fit, form and function to keep the Air as close to original as possible but still offer protection. I went back and forth on red vs. black color and decided on black hoping it won't show wear and dirt over time, we will see.

The cover's sleep/wake feature is handy as is its flexibility, which allows users to set the iPad at an angle for typing or viewing. It's a little pricy, but it seems well made.

This is such an ingenious design. Not only does it protect the screen, it looks great, functions as a stand, and turns the iPad on and off. Very cool.

I upgraded from a second generation IPad. This cover only has three sections and I preferred the old one. At least it is still lightweight.

this case is durable and light. Got in black. Had it for years and it still looks great! Defiantly a good durable case.

Looked at multiple covers from multiple manufacturers, this one, for the price meets what the average user would need. A cover, a screen protector and a carrying case per se.

I purchased this along with my iPad Air 2. With my original iPads, I went through 3 or four different cases until I found one that felt right in my hands and did what I needed it to do. With the Air 2, besides that there weren't that many Air 2 cases at the store to choose from, I also didn't want something that would be big and therefore bulk up the device and sort of defeat one of the reasons for getting the super-light device. The smart cover fit the bill. I still might get a smart case when they are in stock, but I'm pleased with the smart cover.
