Really nice case for protection and a great price! It's awesome that is stands on its own so you can view without holding!

Had just gotten my i pad air and wanted a cover. My dzughter had this kind for her children and I wanted the same thing. It does what it says it will do - keep my i pad covered, automatically shuts off when closed.

Overall, this is a good case. Made by Apple for their own product. It feels great in the hand, because it's made of leather. The iPhone cases are made of the same stuff. The sleep wake magnet works every time. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that the cover is flush with the case. This makes it slightly difficult to open and close. Other than that, great product.

Shame on Apple. Usually their products are well executed and engineered. This isn't. Two main faults. One, the camera opening was not correct and covered half the iPad's lens and two, the grooves for the stand are not depp enough to hold the iPad upright securely. The case does protect well and I liked the magnetic shut-off. But I did buy another case that worked light-years better.

The iPad cover was very practical. The kickstand portion isn't as effectual as my earlier cover, but the price was better. I also liked the color.

this case looks great and works perfectly on my iPad air it automatically locks and unlocks the screen based on me opening or closing the case it's honestly not very protective but I knew that going into it

Apple branded leather case fits perfectly and is made with high quality leather. Won't add much thickness to the iPad.

This version of Apple's iPad Smart Cover is relatively on par with the original version, except that the tri-fold design collapses much easier than the quad-fold design did when used as a stand. I really wish that they'd bring back the original and cut the price, because there are really better options out there.

As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. The Apple Smart Cover is an expensive flap but you can feel the difference in quality when you hold it and compare it with the off-brand versions. The cover holds tight when open, closed or in either of its standing positions because of the high qualify magnets, it won't be flopping around on you or getting in the way when you don't need it. You will pay a little more up front but you will make up for it in longevity and quality.

This is s nice nom bulky cover. Would get something that protects better if kids use the iPad as it does not really protect anything but the screen.

The smart case for my new iPad provides great protection and stability when used for propping up the tablet. Love it!

Bought this cover instead of the case as I prefer the silicon, rubbery texture which makes it easier to grip than the leather ones from Apple.

Protects my iPad air perfectly. Easy to use. The ideal companion for the iPad air. High quality leather and perfect feel.

I decided to stick with Apples cover. It fits properly. Looks great and keeps the nice thin look that I like about the ipad. I also like the feature that puts the ipad to sleep automatically when you close the cover. The only thing I'm not so keen on is folding the lid so I can stand the ipad up. A bit hard to figure out.

This is a very good, albeit minimal, cover for your iPad Air. I wish they would make it in leather like the older ones, but this one works for me.

This is a great product if you only want the front protected. It just doesn't protect the back at all.

this case is awesome as it has a great magnetic strip which works awesome but it just covers the top of your ipad not too safe but great looks

This case is fantastic. As a new iPad user, I was happy with the slim and attractive quality of the air. I tried out the Apple branded iPad air case and it seemed to undermine the slim profile of the Air making it bulky. This case however maintains the slim profile and has a very attractive color. The only downside is residual from other people who say they miss the four divisions which makes sense. Three can make it a little hard to use, but not enough to mark it down a star. Buy!
