Not sure about it being worth full price but I have owned the iPad mini cover also and the iPad mini cover seemed to have a different microfiber material. Still good but I like this one a little better.

Good light-duty cover

It fits the iPad closely and is comfortable to use while it is attached. Note that this is not a full, protective case.

Nice cover for Air

It holds up better than the leather cover in that it is easy to clean and feels good when you're holding it. The folds don't stay as well as the older models, but it gets the job done.

Does not add much weight or size

It also unlocks the screen when you open it, which makes it easy to set it down for a few minutes and then pick up where you left off.

Choose color carefully, as it will be w you a long time. I keep my fingers v clean, but notice it may smudge v slightly. Pencil eraser (a v clean one) may remove some dirt.
