I thought I was ordering a case - didn't key on "cover". Now I know the difference and realize that one needs a case to provide meaningful impact protection for the thin piece of glass comprising the iPad Air 2. Returned the cover and will buy a Logitech case, not Apple's case, as I don't think it will provide significant protection if the iPad gets knocked off the kitchen counter.

I purchased this new iPad cover for my new iPad and I like it just as much as my last cover. It has improved in that the new cover doesn't have the metal so it does stay on a little better. I'm not happy they don't have a true "pink" as I have what they call pink which is really like a orangish melon color. Overall it does its job just waiting for new covers to get the one I like.

A cheaper high quality option to ipad cases. You could spend twice the amount to get one this nice. Enjoy!
