The metal flange or wire protector that protects the wire at the point of egress from the range did a good job. I have used this product in the past. Would recommend it highly. I usually let the delivery man install the cord, except for the old 3 prong ones.

No blips in the steady stream of electricity required to keep the oven and stove top working to provide food for our family. The three wires are strong and stiff, so no breakage. Absolutely a must for the operation of the appliance when the wall socket requires this type of plug. Totally recommend!
