Made installation a breeze. Definitely a worth having

I saw a dishwasher installed once, cost $200, with this kit the electric hookup needed no wire stripping, just a screwdriver, and the water hookup just needed crescent wrench and screwdriver for hose clamp. EZPZ

The Kitchenaid dishwasher and all connections are working beautifully. This dishwasher makes my dishes clean, dry and sanitized, which my previous one did not. It’s terrific !!! It’s also quiet and a very attractive addition to my home. I appreciate the quality and consistency of it. It’s working now and barely makes a noise. Terrific! The buttons on the front are so convenient to use and it has wonderful options and features. I like being able to choose different options depending on the wash pad.

As a universal kit, it may have some adapters and fittings that you won't need. That's the nature of a universal kit. But, similarly, you likely won't need anything else to install your new dishwasher regardless of make/model. In my case, it provided the specific right-angle fitting to connect my 2017 Bosch 300 model to the water supply line included in the kit. There were other fittings that I didn't use, and I didn't need the 120V line with grounded plug for my installation since I hard-wired electric to the Bosch-supplied gang box. But, again, it's better to have everything you need and a little extra than to need to run out in the middle of an installation to find that right-angle garden-hose fitting at the local big box hardware store. Materials seems to be good quality; there've been no leaks or issues in the six weeks since installation.

We were recommended to buy the new hose to ensure a smooth install. Worked well.

Seemed to have what the installers needed to hook up the dishwasher in the existing space and connect it to the water line. Only time will tell if the products in the kit last a decent amount of time.

The dishwasher I have now is much better than the one that had to be removed because of major leaks. When the dishes come out of the drying cycle, they are dry, but there is still one part attached to and under the main, upper slide out shelf that continues to drip water after the normal, pro-dry cycle. The water doesn't drip on the dishes until after I pull it out, so I've learned to get the bottom dry dishes out before I pull out the top shelf. I'll get someone to look at it. This is the 2nd Kitchen Aid dishwasher from Best Buy that leaks. Thanks.

I was surprised from the Best Buy appliance guy telling me that I would need this install kit and sure enough there were a few things I needed from it,I could have re used the main hose and a few clips but why not just replace it now and take care of it before something else could possibly happen. So yes I would recommend this kit in installing a new dishwasher I could not have finished my install without it as it had an adaptor that I needed to have. Parts seem like of decent quality.
