This new cover seems to fit as well as one on our iPad 2. Looking for a simple cover to help with travel and handling. This one does it. The top moves easily for various positions. Stands up to support additional uses. Just what I was looking for.

Nothing flashy or special -- it fits just the way it's supposed to, protects my screen, acts as a stand for the iPad, and turns it off and on when you open and close the cover.

The Smart Cover I think is a great cover for the iPad, but just mediocre as a stand, and it's definitely overpriced by Apple because it's an Apple product. Sometimes I couldn't get the cover to stay folded into a stand and as a stand it's not great on soft surfaces. It's much better staying folded when you're using it on a hard surface like a desk. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it simply because of the price. There are cheaper stands/covers that are just as good as this one.

Lightweight design that holds tightly to the ipad without making it bulky

I was almost going to buy the one that had a keyboard, but glad I didn't, as this one is a perfect fit, light and makes it easier to carry around, and I have no problem with the virtual keyboard, which would have been too bulky and cumbersome.

Fits well and the salesguy was very helpful. Would have liked to have more of a selection to choose from for the regular iPad, most were for the Pro. I would prefer if when i fold it over that it would adhere to the back of the iPad.

After upgrading from the Apple iPad Air 2, to the newest Apple iPad, my old book style cover did not fit. When I went to Best Buy where I purchased the old cover, the selection was limited to only the one cover. This cover automatically shuts down the open device and protects the screen, however there is no protection for the back of the iPad to prevent scratches. It was a little over priced as well, although much less expensive than what the Apple Store offered. I would have preferred a less expensive cover that protected the back as well as the front, as my previous case did. I did not want the screen to go unprotected, so felt obligated to buy the only cover they had. Perhaps Best Buy will have more of a selection in time.

I replaced a more expensive blue-tooth keyboard and protective case with this made by Apple cover. The ipad was big and bulky when fully closed around the hard shell and the protective keyboard. I don't know if the keys ever worked so I was happy to find this replacement. It cuts down on the weight, offers screen protection and conveniently folds to permit the ipad to stand up to watch the screen.

They fit well, cut power when closed and protect glass. I’m hard on them and they last eighteen to twenty four months. I also use it frequently to prop up pad to read etc.

This at first i thought would be a bad thing for my unit, however it fit perfectly. The only downsides to this cover is the fact that it seems to not work well with thick screen protectors, as well as full body cases (as this only protects the screen when closed) Other than that, if you never plan on using your ipad outside the house, or, if you do and keep it covered all the time, this is the way to go.

I don’t need bulletproof cover for my iPad. This provides the protection I need and the stand is very handy and just the right angle for viewing.

I had bought one of the Logitech Keyboard type for my iPad. However, I found it clunky in many situations and it used up my batter power very quickly. I much prefer this product. It is high quality and once you get used to typing on the screen its a no brainier.

Vibrant colors, excellent magnet and performs exactly how I expected. I wouldn't rank it high on cost... It's a very simple contraption for what you have to pay for it.

It’s a nice cover but only covers the screen. The back is not covered. It is nice and slim but just did not work for me.

Great case very light weight helps conserve battery life while protecting your device screen also a good prop for watching shows
