This is an acceptable product cover. It only covers the screen which is okay. My old one covered front and back, but it apparently is not made anymore. This is lightweight and fold easily, so it does the job.

This Apple Cover is great for the new 2017 iPad (5th Generation).

Nice cover. Protects the screen but not the back. A little pricey.

Easy to use. Does not take much space. Colorful and sturdy

The magnetic strip provides a perfect fit. The awake and sleep modes activating when the cover is open or closed is a key feature.

Not as nice as the leather one, obviously, and what a blah color. But it was the only Apple Smart Cover in the store, and cases made by others are horribly bulky and tacky, so this is still the better option.

It's a nice cover, that's slim and it protects the front of my iPad very well. But I gave it three stars for being over priced, and no protection for the back of the iPad. I would recommend this cover only if the iPad stays in your home. The back will get scratched up with heavy use.

The Apple cover for the iPad is definitely the protection you need for very little money. It magnetically attaches to the iPad, folds open and close, and doubles as a stand. When the cover is closed, the iPad goes to sleep, when opened it wakes. It’s tough enough to withstand drops and anything else headed for the screen

This cover is not only protective, but when it is closed over the screen it turns the iPad off. It easily folds over the back of theiPad out of the way when it is being used. And it folds on itself to support the iPad when it is being viewed horizontally.

I went on to buy a cover for my iPad a month back and I must say I loved it as I saw it. There are so many options for us but, none sleek and stylish as compared to this. You can fold it in to reading mode, movie mode, or just place it flat saving your iPad from scratches. Really happy with the purchase. Thanks Best Buy.

Case works as advertised and is of genuine apple quality. Very happy with it and use these smart covers on all our Ipads.

This is my second cover. The first cover lasted many years and I expect this cover to last until I get another iPad; in a couple more years. This is a magnetically attached cover that protects the screen and leaves the back uncovered. It is very light and works just the way I want.

My wife had a similar cover and wanted something different so she bought a new one. This cover was very bulky and heavy, and she didn't keep it long. She bought this one and loves it. The cover is light weight and protects the screen and folds so that you can set the screen up to watch videos if that is what you want to do.

Apples cover for their iPad is adequate but pricey, come on Apple, it’s a magnetic cover, margins must be high for this price. Look for sale price before buying.

This cover works great and an added bonus is that the color is easy to spot when you set it down someplace.

I was worried the cover would constantly fall off like the old one on my daughter's iPad 2. It does not. I love that it's thin and light which allows me to slip the iPad into small spaces. I had considered getting an iPad mini, but love the new light weight regular size, and this cover keeps it that way

We tried a no name cover similar to this but it’s not even close to the quality of the Apple Smart Cover.

Worked as advertised. Even managed to rig it with a couple straws to make it fit the smaller, newer iPad.
