Love the feel of the case but isn’t very protective, and occasionally falls off due to being held on via magnets, has picked up some stains over time, pros is that it sticks to anything metal even through the case.

This folio fits the iPad mini perfectly and the color is beautiful. I love how it automatically wakes and sleeps the iPad. The material feels premium and it protects the screen well. Very happy with this purchase.

This is the best design for a tablet!! It’s very sleek and fits with a magnet on front and back. It doesn’t slip and doesn’t add any weight to the tablet. The cover can be used to prop it up and it wakes up the mini also when you open it. I have always been happy with any Apple product I have bought over many years. Had bought the Targus case before this one. Even though it was good, I prefer this one. Feels premium. The folio is magnetic. I like how the last flap can open for the flashlight. Would like more color options.

Very sleek case magnetic case - well designed to protect both the front and rear of the iPad when closed. When open the case can form a stand or sit flush on the rear. It is when sitting flat on the back that the case loses a star as it can be fiddley prizing the magnetic covers apart from each other.

Great fit, sleek design, not bulky. Its a great case if you don’t drop things, however it doesn not provide much protection, as it is only attached to the iPad via magnets.

I purchased this cover because it is custom-made for the iPad Mini by Apple. Other brands add way too much thickness bulk, making the iPad feel weird in your hands. This cover fits perfectly. It is super thin and fully protects the front and back of the iPad. It's held on by strong magnets, so don't worry about it slipping out of place.

I really enjoy this case for my ipad mini. reminds me of a notepad. easily protects the front and back of my ipad while also leaving an easily accessible option for me to be able to take on and off the case. i also like that it has multiple ways i can fold it making it into a stand. it also a great texture and a spot for the apple logo!

This magnetic cover works really well with this iPad. It looks sleek, functions as a stand, we didn’t have to “fuss with it to fit” as w could simply attach it and go. We will see about the long term durability, however it’s currently working out for our family.

I wanted a folio type case for my iPad mini, especially one that just connects with magnets. I don’t like the cases with a plastic frame. I know those offer more protection on the sides and edges, but I like to use my iPads without cases and as clean as possible. This folio case from Apple is perfect for my needs. It is light weight, and attaches firmly to the back. The cover is trifold and can be folded to the desired angle when in landscape mode. When folded back, the cover is also held in place by the magnets. This is precisely cut, does not reallly overhang too much on the sides so the Apple Pencil fits perfectly on there. This also has sleep/wake function so my screen will be off when the cover is closed. Yes, it does not protect the sides or with a good judge it will detach from the back. But I take really good care of my devices and am really careful. I love this case and the minimalist look, but is overly priced.

I decided to try this cover because I wanted a lightweight cover for my ipad mini. Overall it is okay. I tend to move around a lot so I would not recommend this smartfolio if you do the same. The sides are exposed and if not careful can get scratched. If you're at home and want a simple cover this works well. This is a secondary cover as I travel with my ipad mini and need more protection. But this is very easy to detach and attach.

Bought it for my new mini. It doesn't feel as secure as other cases/covers so I got Apple Care for it. I do like the design and the folding cover to use as support while setting it sideways. I am fully aware the iPad may break even if I have the cover on hence the Apple Care. The cover does protect the screen from scratches very well. I usually carry it in my backpack so it helps keeping the screen in the best condition.

While looking at this specific case and the alternatives all of the reviewers said that this was the best case for the iPad Mini. They were right! This case fits perfectly, isnt too thick/thin, and keeps the iPad well protected. I have dropped my iPad twice and it never slid off or has given any issues. Definitely worth it!

This product enhances the experience of using the iPad. The fit, feel, and quality of this folio is remarkable. I also own a Kindle that fits into a similar folio. However, the iPad is much more enjoyable to hold for any length of time.

Apple knows what they're doing with these cases. Minimally protecting the screen and adding some functionality without adding major bulk to the ipad. They even thought out that you might need to use the back camera so you can just fold over that one piece to uncover it.
