I purchased this right before the newest one came out, so I returned this item, and purchased the upgraded version. The newer one is better and more secure. This one uses finger print only and is not as sleek and doesn't really have any additonal features. I'd recommend getting the newest one which uses your veins on your palm as a key, and has a hidden keylock behind the doorbell, a camera, and viewing screen.

Love the smart features, especially the ability to open remotely and to store different users. Only issue is that the fingerprint function doesn’t work great if your finger and/or the pad is wet.

I recently switched from Yale. Used it for 2 years and 2 months. Something kept draining my batteires with Yale every single week. They offered no help and the Matter upgarded was an additional $200! This Eufy has everything you can think of and even a rechargeable USB-C battery! Love it! I will get all Eufy locks for all my external doors!
