Great suction for a vacuum of this type, single unit or combo; lasts about 15 minutes more on a charge is better to maneuver and is easier to empty... Hand unit separates easily and works very well. Long neck makes it easy to get items off floor,good filtration and asy to empty dust bin. Only downside is that you need to plug in charging cord rather than simply setting unit in charging base. This is a minor inconvenience but it does allow hand unit to be charged without base.

Just moved into a new home with hardwood floors throughout. I have a newer Dyson which is great but I was looking for a lighter, cordless vacuum that I could use instead of dragging out the much heavier Dyson. So glad I bought this vacuum. It is easy to use and has a detachable hand vacuum for hard to reach places. Good value for a quality product.

I got 27 minutes of uninterrupted sweeping on one charge. Easy to use on floors and carpets, saves so much time not having a cord to roll up and extend in each room. Love the detachable hand vac for tight spots. Only downside is there is no place on the unit to store the small brush it comes with.

Good suction and battery life for the price. I have had no issues with it. Just with the brush attachment mounted on the vacuum and wish there were sinal attachments available.

Looking for a powerful cordless vaccum I would only purchase this one. High quality, battery lasts long and has a cup that collects dirt. No bags. No cords and all power. Great on hand woods. Great on carpet

I was worried it might not have enough suction, but it performs very well. The only drawback is that the ONE brush attachment that it comes with does not attach to the vacuum while in use.

I am very happy with the Black & Decker SMARTECH Cordless Broom - it is very easy to clean and very easy to recharge. Also, it is a very powerful electric broom and I don't need to use my large vacuum cleaner anymore. I recommend it highly. I own a large home and I get my cleaning done in no time at all. I simply love it!

This thing works as advertised. There are some features I would have designed differently or at least I think I would have, but ultimately it's a lightweight portable vacuum that does the job.

This machine is not wimpy ... gets my floors clean & is easy to empty when finished

Just be careful when cleaning the brush, can lose a part.

Did not give 5 stars because replacement filters are not currently available from any sources. Customer service said the vacuum is a new model and replacement filters should be available the first of May.

Best hand held vacuum I've owned. Works great on area rugs.

For small jobs it is a good vacuum cleaner for indoor and outdoor usage.

Great all around vacuum. You can use it in your home or in your car.
