SMASH was a unique show with great acting and singing, a different theme than all other shows, and an involved plot. This great team of writers and actors were able to bring you into the world of Broadway hopes, dreams, trials and triumphs. No other show has used such elaborate sets and impressive choreography. It is truly sad that it was only given two seasons to shine amidst the mediocrity of current television choices. However, for any who have not experienced the thrill of this show, don't be afraid to purchase the DVDs. Unlike many cancelled shows, SMASH did a wonderful job of wrapping up all story lines for a satisfying series ending.

I absolutely loved this series. It's too bad the show was cancelled. For those you don't like song and dance, this TV show is not for you. For those of us who love the theatre - it was awesome.

Wonderful world of Broadway and behind the scenes look at rehearsals, productions, performances, relationships, competition and positivity - super entertainment!

Loved the music and learning more about the extreme difficulties of making a musical and getting it to Broadway.

We loved the whole story about Marilyn Monroe.The story about all the other characters sometimes got confusing, but the series was about the theater scene.

I loved the show when it was on TV, so I had to get the DVD set when it was released. Love to have the option to watch whenever I want.
