I bought them for my son for Christmas I thought it was a good option but it was not like that, for the price one realizes the things and so it was a week of using them to disconnect a cable is supposed to be used by children and is resistant to use

My son started Kindergarten a couple of weeks ago and we were surprised to see "earbuds" on his school supply list. He has a great pair of KidzSafe over-hear headphones that have lasted well over two years of use and we love that they limit the volume. We were surprised by the lack of choices for similar kids earbuds, but were happy to see the KidzSafe brand again. None of our local stores had them in stock, so we ordered them. Unfortunately, they do not fit. In order to limit how far kids can push them into their ears, the part that actually goes in the ear is quite short - too short to actually hold these in his ears. I guess they intend for the larger part to sit snugly in the outer portion of the ear, which just flat didn't work for our 5 1/2 year old. We will keep these and hope he can use them in the future, but will be purchasing a pair of headphones instead, with the school's permission. (Side note - apparently most of the earbuds showing up with the Kindergartners do not fit their little ears, so teachers are now asking for headphones instead!)
