For the price, this drone is simply, "alright." For a child, it works just fine. If you do not want to utilize any other feature (including the use of a smartphone as a screen for FOV mode), then it's great. Below, I will list the pros and cons of this drone, and why I ultimately will be returning it: Pros: - Flies quite well with good controls - Durable - Comes with two batteries - Comes with some spare parts Cons: - The video feed is VERY choppy when using your phone as a viewfinder/display for FOV mode. So choppy, actually, that it is not usable. Even from a point-blank, < 1' distance (literally pointing at the drone from less than a foot away). - Video files are often corrupted. Yes, I have used multiple micro-SD cards to see if they were the problem. 5 micro-SD cards later, I can confirm that they were NOT the problem. Of the more than two-dozen videos I have recorded, only TWO were playable. - While this drone is durable, it also feels like cheap, hollow plastic. I would rate durable high, but actual build quality a 3/10. - The batteries take 90 minutes to charge (each) but provide only 6-8 minutes of actual run time (each). Overall, I would not recommend this drone even as a cheap beginner drone. It would be fun for a child, though. This is something I will concede on, and it would not make a terrible gift for them (assuming they do not care about any of the 'cons'). Pass on this. Trust me.

Good beginner drone. Batteries run out entirely too fast and take forever to charge. Flight is easy once you get the trim and strafe set. The camera and picture are excellent and good quality. Looked at a video and was even more impressed. Overall, I love the operations part, just the battery life is a major draw back.

Easy to fly with a decent camera and range. Just wish the battery lasted longer.

My son crashed a few times while he was learning but the drone barely had a scratch. He found it easy to learn and had plenty of fun with it. He just wished the batteries lasted longer. It takes great pics.

For the money it's great. But the battery life is very short and it has a hard time in even light winds. It also annoyingly constantly beeps when places in "headless mode." It's also kind of difficult to out togehter and the instructions are hard to follow. But for $100 it was a good purchase.

It's very lightweight, has great power to the motors, moves pretty snappy...I honestly haven't paired it with the app in the smartphone yet but it looks like a premium drone. I am pleasantly surprised. Great bang for the buck!

Picture quality is not very good while moving . And if you try to go much over 20 feet high in the air the and there’s any wind at all it will take your drone with it.. Other than that it is a very good drone to learn how to fly..

I was searching for a gift for my nephew that would be both fun for him to use while still avoiding the ire of my brother-in-law. This drone was perfect. I was shocked by how little time passed between the opening of the box and the drone taking flight. The setup was quick and simplistic, the controls were intuitive, and the charging system was surprise benefit (the drone comes with an extra battery pack). Both the sensitivity of the controls and the quality of the camera were impressive, especially considering the price point.

The Snaptain S5C Pro is a great drone for beginners, especially those who are new to flying drones and may be a bit clumsy like me. It is lightweight and durable, so it can withstand a few bumps and bruises. It also has a one-button take-off and landing feature, which makes it easy to get started. The S5C Pro comes with a well-organized instruction manual, quick start guide, and diagrams. There are also plenty of helpful videos on YouTube for this model. This makes it easy to learn how to fly the drone and get started with its various features. Even though I am not very familiar with the controls yet, I have been able to fly the S5C Pro without any problems. It rises and holds its altitude nicely, giving me time to figure out which control button to press next. Overall, I am very impressed with the Snaptain S5C Pro. It is a great drone for beginners and offers a lot of value for the price. I am looking forward to learning how to fly it better and eventually landing it like pro. The battery life was super short but the picture quality on the camera was excellent

It’s ok for a beginner, the battery only last 5 minutes! With the camera on, I don’t know what more I can say!

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our 14yo son. He loves it. It does take some getting used to on the controls but otherwise it’s great! Our 11yo son has started learning with it. Came with a few extra propellers which is nice because the first crash needed a replacement. Battery does seem to run out a little fast, but it charges pretty quickly too.

Great for beginners thought drones were hard to control but it’s presto easy love the video

I am going to give this 4 stars, even though I have had to replace it twice. The first time the remote wouldn't pair, no big. I returned it and got a new one. This time, after a few flights the bird caught on fire when it landed. I was able to get the mishap on camera, and sent it to Snaptain support. Support was awesome and got me a replacement out in the mail almost immediately, and let me keep the battery and props from the old one (Because they do not sell batteries, just be forewarned) so far the battery life has met my expectations and have had no control issues. Keep in mind - do not fly near power lines (it will cause interference and drone will fly away), calibrating is cumbersome, takes more than a few turns. ALWAYS calibrate your gyro, even though it doesn't make you. (Hold the sticks to the bottom left. or do it in app) and finally don't fly it out of sight. I've been timid about flying long ways, but will do so soon at a park or beach.

Gave to my 10 and 12 year old for Christmas. Overall a nice drone for the money. Has a bit of a drift when it should be steady (inside) so knocked a star off for that. Battery life is not real long so thankfully there are two batteries included.

I picked up the Snaptain S5C Pro a few months back and ran into a couple of issues with the battery and Wi-Fi. The battery life was shorter than advertised, and the Wi-Fi connection was often unstable. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Snaptain's customer service team. They replaced the drone for me without any hassle, and I received the new drone within a week. I'm now very happy with my Snaptain S5C Pro, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Extremely light, be careful of windy days, it will go away and the signal won’t help, it’s hard to sync, besides that, the quality for video and pictures are really good, if it’s an open space I’ll recommend this product

This Drone is a great starter Drone. The battery lasts about 10 minutes and it is relatively easy to use. I will probably purchase a bigger and more expensive Drone from Best Buy later due to my enjoying this one.

This is a good drone for the price tag with excellent video quality(in SD card storage). There were no issues w.r.to connectivity or operation. Handles quite well indoors. Not very good for outdoors though, as wind sways it a lot.
