HDR was done well with this movie. The story is pretty straight forward, but enjoyable.

This movie is just fine, but may suffer by comparison to other similar films of the genre. The dwarves were not as richly realized as those in the LOTR or Hobbit movies, and the Queen v. Snow White storyline was just okay. I bought the Blu-Ray because it was only $7.99 and came with $7.50 movie money for Fandango. If you are going to see a movie anyways, then it is like getting the movie for 50 cents.

It had been many years since I'd seen a children's, family entertainment movie and I very seldom watch an animated movie unless my grand children are watching it. But I purchased this movie for my grandchildren and all of us have watched it and all of us enjoyed it very much. It does keep then entertained. Very good will be a classic

This was a big budget fantasy movie a year ago or so starring Charlize Theron, Kristen Stewart, and Liam Hemsworth. Its a fun movie with high replay value. This version comes with a Blu-ray, dvd, and an HD Digital Copy that can be redeemed through CinemaNow, Vudu, Flixster and others. I liked this movie a lot and its on sale now for $5, its hard to go wrong.

I'm glad I purchased this disc. I wanted to test out my Xbox One S HDR and it didn't fail. Picture quality is excellent and sound is superb. Great buy and price was perfect. Only reason I gave a 4 star is the Movie came out in 2012 and I don't think it was mastered with HDR in mind. Other then that the movie itself was really good.

Don't have a lot to say about this one, but did enjoy it. I think perhaps I may have cast a different actress than Stewart for this one, but she did fine for the role. Charlize Theron is however a frickin' force of nature in the acting realm, and just makes every role they throw at her as if it was written for her specifically.

I purchased this and the second one at the same time, unfortunately no steel book for this movie , but still cool blu -ray , and I got to add it to my uv account, but cool movie ,I actually watch the second one first then this one and it made the movie come together much better than viewing them in order , but still good

The second one plays better than the first one. I had not purchased the first one originally, being content to have seen it once. However, to remind me of the history behind the 2nd one, I just had to purchase this as a reminder and to have the set. The Blu-Ray worked perfectly!

I had my eye on this movie for a while. I usually buy movies I haven't seen and almost always go by their summary. This summary seemed good and for the price I figured sure why not. After watching the movie It stayed true to the summary meaning it didn't disappoint. Overall, it's a movie I plan on keeping and sharing with my friends.

A great movie but still I only bought it cause of my wife

The love found and then the love lost journey was good and the special affects of making the dwarfs and the castle were very good CGI. The evil queen coming back was expected but the twist of the double cross to derail the sisters happiness just so another could stay powerful was a surprise.

AN INCREDIBLE EPIC, PROWLING, SAGA BUT.. It just doesn't develop enough of the cast. Perhaps it's the actors. But whatever it is, Charize Thereon is left as the only lead in the whole picture. That is enough to keep it in the average category. I would recommend it, but only if you intend to see the Sequel.

This is a great twist on the old fairy tale. Charlize Theron is very good as the Evil Queen, Kristen Stewart provides a good twist on Snow White as she has some teeth and will fight back. Chris Hemsworth is awesome as the distraught Huntsman sent to bring back the heart of Snow White. The movie at times can be a bit slow, but it is entertaining and is definitely not the DISNEY version. I recommend this movie...I should, I bought it! :-)

very original take on an old story. gives a fresh idea to think that she wasn't just some fairy princess that had everyone waiting on her. she even had someone else to have feelings for instead of just the snobby prince. she had a real person to attach her affections too that showed her the outside world for all its good and bad

I previously owned Snow White and the Huntsman on a Blu-ray player I had the Blu-ray disc the movie was awesome so I had to watch it in Ultra HD and I can assure you it was definitely worth the repeated by the graphics are fantastic the image is so sharp and clear you almost feel like you're in the movie strongly recommend this movie to anyone who owns a Ultra HD Blu-ray player

If you are an action movie lover, this movie will not be the one that will leave you in awe. You should enjoy it though and be entertained. My wife and I liked when we rented it and thought it was worth our collection. For me this one is better than the sequel but not by much.

The movie was almost as good as the first one but watching it in 4K made it all worth while. Some of the scenes were just amazing. The sound was just as impressive. I would recommend this movie for all 4K lovers. It has to be in my top 10 of 4K movies I've bought so far.

I bought a new 4k TV & blu-ray/4k player during one of Best Buys big sales and have been on the hunt for action movies in 4k. This movie was amazing to watch on the TV and even better, the price was the best I had found! I research the best prices all over the web before I buy anything and BB has the best deals. Cant wait to add more to my collection!

I was prepared to dislike this movie because of Kristen Stewart, but this movie reminded me that she is actually a decent actress (Twilight was just terrible script writing) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Charlize Theron as the evil queen. This is probably one of my top favorite performances of hers. If you are a fan of fairy tale retellings, especially with a darker twist, this is the movie for you.

This rendition to the timeless classic "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" leads the viewer down quite a different path. I particularly like the, "Everyone knows the story but let me introduce you to a different interpretation of it" stance the writer chose.
