Now this was FUNNY back in the day, at the price I bought it for, home run! Re-watching this show is still funny today and a break from the same old stuff made today!

The most controversial series ever. It hit the American culture like a freight train in the late 70's. Funny and as edgy as they could and still make it on to network television. There is no way this series could be on today: totally non-politically correct! I not over reacting here - even I cringe at some of what goes on. Buy a copy and what it in private - tell no one!

Good quality - missing a couple of the hour-long episodes, but I, personally don't remember them anyway as I didn't see every single episode when it was in syndication. My only complaint is packaging - came a bit crushed and the dvd holders are cardboard. I will be replacing them with appropriate DVD holders to protect them as I think taking them in and out of this type of packaging could eventually scratch the dvds.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my sister and she has informed me that she has watched the entire 8 discs at least 3 times since December. She is a huge fan of the entire series and stated the quality of dvds are excellent. She does wish they were blue ray but won't trade them at this point.

I watched this when I was young. It would never be seen in today's culture. It breaks every social norm and rule and is so very funny. Buy it for the laughs
