Lasts a long time and is easy to use. Wrote this so I could be entered for a gift card....

I like bubbles in my beverages. This exchange carbonator allows me to do that at will. In addition, it is more economical than purchasing a new carbonator (half off!) and because it’s a refill, it doesn’t go to the landfill. All the exchange carbonators I have purchased worked just like the new ones. Cheers!

In the past, I'd lugged home plastic bottles of effervescent flavored waters from the stores. Again, and again, and again --day after day- week after week- month after month- year after year .... I'd lugged them up the stairs and into my home. I'd found the need to make space for the extra bottles in hopes that that I could do the 'toting' chore less frequently. It takes moments to tote the empty carbonator into Best Buy to do an exchange. It's then MONTHS of toting: nothing. I'd used siphons for many years [--in the decades before the ease of internet/Amazon, etc], but bored with the inconvenience/difficulties to find --and to keep/have on hand- the needed chargers ONE trip to tote 1 or 2 cylinders (I have two cylinders, so that I only need to exchange -at most- 2-3 times per YEAR ) NOT a terribly tricky decision here., eh? ;-) An a different tangent: For those trying to kick the cola/soda habit, may I suggest the simplicity of picking up freshly squeezed orange juice to which you can add your SodaStream soda? And/or, the ever-handy frozen pineapple juice in the freezer? It quickly becomes so much less cloyingly sweet when you put a tablespoon into a tall glass filled with soda/turn it into a spritzer

A must have for my SodaStream carbonator, most dependably found at my local Best Buy, recycling in rotation (having three cylinders, when I load the last full one exchanging the two empties. SodaStream is useless without it.

My machine is over 10 years old & last cartridge I bought was at least 10 years ago - long lasting - very convenient - excellent value!

I love being able to get cheaper refills of these gas canisters in store. Since I bought a Soda Stream I save money in that I don't have to buy soft drinks anymore or for what I use it the most, simply carbonated water to replace purchasing things like Perrier.

All ways good to have easy access to create your own sparkling water and with the easy exchange of CO2 its amazing

It's an easy product to install and use. I love the taste of the carbonated beverages.

I like the fact that you can exchange your used carbonators and receive new ones for a reduced price. This is the best program bc I definitely would not know what to do with the old ones and who does not like saving money on new ones! :) Note: I only use this for the sparkling water and not for actual soda.

When I bought my Soda Stream I didn't know about the CO2 cylinder exchange. When I learned you can exchange an empty cylinder for a full one for half the price of buying one, I was thrilled. The convenience of BestBuy being an exchange location is great!

The SodaStream carbonator exchange program at Best Buy is managed differently then at other stores. Some retailers (Bed Bath and Beyond - now defunct) place the recharged carbonator cylinders on a display shelf so all you have to do is take it to the register and hand your exchange cylinder to the checkout clerk. They do things a little different at Best Buy. You have to go to checkout clerk first, pay for the exchange, and they will get your you a fully recharged and sealed carbonation cylinder from a hidden storage. I don't know why they do it this way. Maybe because a hard metal cylinder under extreme pressure is a safety hazard or maybe because of theft prevention. Whatever the case, it's not too inconvenient and the price is the same as anywhere else. I will return to Best Buy for this product as long as they have plenty in stock.
