Works. Good enough quality for what it is. We enjoy having on-demand fizzy water in the house. Even though the cartridges cost money to replace, it is still a lot less waste than the many many many cans and plastic bottles we were purchasing for home constantly. Oh, only the front top part is matte black, the rest is shiny black plastic.

I already owned an older SodaStream and have been a big fan for 10+ years. Unfortunately this particular model is not as good as the older version. I already twice made a mess when the magnetic holder didn’t work on the first try and the carbonation ‚exploded‘ and water went all over the counter. When the bottle is tight it works fine.

The sodastream is so much fun. I've been drinking a lot of sparkling water. Highly recommend the purchase.

I didn't see the point of this, but my wife wanted one. Generic soda? Do it yourself? Then I find out you can order Coca-Cola syrup online. (Order a spout and drain the syrup into gallon size bottles in case the bag leaks. 6 oz of syrup in a quart size mason jar, then pour carbonated water into the mason jar and you have fountain Coke.

Works great and love the fact that it doesn’t have to be plugged in.

Works really well and easy to store because it doesn’t need a plug.

This was given as a gift to my wife and I. We had talked about it before and giving it a shot. Once we got this, I was very much disappointed. One of my firends had the original soda stream and that one was so much betwr. Instead of relying on the seal to be pressed, you actually screwed the bottle into the top which craated the seal that doesn’t leak or break. I tried this several times to get it right. Out of the week we used it, we were cleaning up seltzer every day. Its not worth the hassle.
