Ok let me say wonderful sound. It's amazing. But the other reviews listen. The ear buds difficult to stay In your ears. If only they weren't so flimsy. I don't know. They don't stay and it becomes annoying. Then if you walk away from your phone forget it. The connection is terrible. You have to be right next to it,otherwise they are pointless. So other than those couple of things if you can deal they are wonderful. I absolutely really like them. Not quite certain if most can deal with those things but I can.

I have gone through several pair of Bluetooth head phones. These have good sound and volume, seem more durable than others. They don't have all the functions, no fast forward or reverse, but sometimes more simple is nicer. My biggest complaint is they don't stay in place on the shoulders as well as the other brand, not that they are balanced that well for me either, but I am having to grab and replace these a lot more.

These headphones sound pretty darn good, and when new, battery life was short but acceptable(about 7 hours). They are now ~3 months old, and I'm lucky of I get 4.5 hours on a full charge(24 hours of charging), and the right side earbud has stopped working. The bluetooth has ok range, definitely not the 30 feet advertised, more like 4-6 feet...nothing to brag about. Talking on phone was average, I could hear well, they could here me most of the time...sometimes bluetooth would cut out. Fit was ok, had to really shove them in my ears to get them to stay. Worse thing about these is they don't stay on your neck. I can't count how many times I have had someone come running up to me telling me I dropped them and I didnt even realize it. Thank goodness for honest people. guess I'm going back to wired headphones. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking for decent mic and good sound quality. Can't recommend to anyone. Not worth 100 bucks. ff they ever drop to 30 bucks I would say go for it. Has 1 year parts&labor warranty,so I'll submit a claim. Will let you know how that works out.

The Sol Republic Shadow Wireless earphones is a great product for customers who are looking for a pair of Bluetooth earphones to replace those arduous and lengthy wired ones. Especially common with most iPhone 7 users out there in the market currently, there is a need to step up the game on connecting wirelessly without the headphone jack. This pair of earphones are not only water and sweat resistant, making it perfect to match other water resistance devices like the iPhone 7. It looks really good too no matter the color, even the box has a nice touch and packaging to it. However, the sleek design makes it difficult to keep the pair around the neck when performing vigorous activities. This is due to the soft neck surround neckband that can be quite frustrating to wear on especially with a t-shirt; there isn’t an option to place them under the collar of a button down shirt at times. Those earbuds, although quite comfortable, they fall out easily during running too. Not to mention that it does not do well in any noise cancelling or noise isolation, they aren’t meant for that. The battery could last me up to six hours in a fast charge which was pretty sweet. It also allows me to switch between two of my devices seamlessly through Bluetooth and control my calls with the built in mic and remote. Unfortunately, I find the three button remote too tiny and temperamental to operate. Do not expect much of a quality phone call using these too, they excel in music audio only. Next on the most important part of the review, the sound of this pair is above average in my personal opinion. Depending on preference, this earphone works especially well on deep rich bass music only. It has a crisp clarity that sounds better than most wired earphones but not all. If you start comparing it with the wired Apple Earpods, it lacks the clarity, loud noise, and bassy music that the Apple Earpods could produce. Perhaps I have only been using Apple Earpods a lot before this to judge my experience but the Sol Republic Shadow Wireless is nowhere near a wired Earpods. Overall, they are definitely not for the audiophiles, but for pure audio listening they are right on the price. A good value for a cord free piece as long as you are not paying more than fifty dollars for it.

I highly recommend this product for people who have issues with always buying headphones.I went through 4.sets of regular headphones before purchasing these. The sound is great and the battery life is good up to 8 hours. The down side is that if you got a fat neck you might have to keep adjusting it. Other than that this product works great.

These are the best sounding Bluetooth in ear headphones I've heard. I've used the lg tone pros and the Jaybird bluebuds x and these sound better than both. They don't stay in my ears very well and they move around my neck quite a bit. They're not good for working out at all. The biggest problem I have with the Shadow Wireless is the fact that if you are more than 2 feet from your phone or your phone is in your pocket, they will lose the connection. I've tried them with different phones, android and iPhones and it's the same. Great headset if you don't move and you keep your head close to your device.

Once you figure out the right size tips and get a good seal these things sound awesome. I love that the are flexible however I have a rather large neck and find that they move around too much for exercising. I have to adjust them way too much so I just use them when I know my movements will be limited.

I like the Shadow because it's lighter than the LG and has a longer battery life. It recharges quickly, but I would an audio notification of the battery life. It's comfortable in my ear and the sound is great for listening to podcasts and music. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

This headset looks and sounds great. I am used to Bose earbuds and think that the Sol Republic sound is fine. Also, the large-size earbud inserts are comfortable and deliver an almost noise cancellation environment. The battery lasts a couple of hours. The headset rests comfortably on my neck . . . pretty secure . . .so much so that I forget that I am wearing them, making them readily available. Plus, I easily and quickly pair the Sol Republic to my I-Phone 6 via Bluetooth. While paired, the Sol is fairly compatible, but I can't play a previous song or fast forward. However, I can double-click to the next tracks and control the volume. Incoming phone calls interrupt other I-Phone apps and sound clear. GOOD BUY FOR THE MONEY.

    Not So Bad Wireless Headphones

I was looking at replacing my wired Apple headphones that came with my i-phone... I had already replaced them at least 3 times due to the wear and tear... With $29.99 a pop, I decided it was time to find a solution to calls or Siri being activated due to the strain-relief giving on the Apple headphones. I first purchased the Plantronics - BackBeat GO 2 Wireless Earbuds, but I did not like the poor bass and overall sound quality... I returned them right away. I asked a BB associate for their recommendation in finding a headset that offered better music sound quality and better bass... He recommended the Sol Shadow and even though they are not a perfect sound compared to the wired Apple headphones, they were much better then the Plantronics.... I wanted a set I could use in a professional work setting... This Sole set is one I can wear without drawing much attention due to size or flashy colors.

These are the best in-ear headphones I have seen out that are reasonably priced. Although these are not audiophile headphones they still provide great quality compared to the other headphones out right now. The battery life is good and controls are easily accessible. The only issues I have with these headphones are: 1. Not being able to go to previous tracks (you can skip forward not a big deal but weird they didn't include this feature). 2. Call quality is good but the person I am talking to complains about a lot of background noise.

I did a lot of research before purchasing these headphone and I am very happy with my choice. I really liked the around the neck style as you tend to get longer battery life out of these types of units. But i also wanted durability and great sound. These headphone have amazing sound, mids lows and highs are all great, they are not overpowered with bass like some of the competition but believe me that does not mean the bass is not good (it really is). I usually am able to get about 10 hours of constant use before needing to recharge and I use them daily while on the job. These are great headphone and would recommend them to anyone.

Really like to love these BT heaphones. They sound great, looks good and fit snugly inside the ears comfortably and without pain. But disappointingly, Sol Republic missed the most important part of owning BT headphones...BT RECEPTION! The BT signal of the Shadow is weak and sensitive to movement. I've tried 2 pairs and they both performed identically. It annoyingly cuts in and out when placed in the back pocket of my jeans while walking or doing other activities. I have to mention that there isn't a problem with BT signal when placed in front pockets. Took them on a 30 mile bicycle ride and it did the same thing the entire way. Mind you the distance between the phone and Shadow was just less than two feet from the inside of my jersey's back pockets. Other than that, everything is up to par with more expensive BT headphones. For those complaining about the collar falling off, look for an appropriate size S-biner or any closed type hook to hold the 2 wires together (see picture) keeping the collar from twisting/falling. Problem solved! My rating for each category. Sound 5 Fit 4 Design/functionality 3 Durability 4 Battery life 4 BT Reception 2 Looks 4 Call quality 5 Charging time 5

For me, these are a great pair of sounding headphones. But, they don't really play well with moving around very swiftly such as running. For daily commutes, walking and performing normal everyday tasks these are great. If you thinking of using these to play sports, forget it. The around the neck design just doesn't work for me because it either bounces up and down or slides to one side. It never stays put and because of that I don't use it as much as my bluetooth earbuds that do not have the around the neck design. But obviously the around the neck type of bluetooth have a longer battery life, so it really depends on what fits you more.

These headphones THUMP!. They also have CSR AptX and sound GREAT because of it. The range reduces for this level of sound but it is worth it. Only negative is the headphones get lopsided sometimes. Buy these NOW! SOL republic even sent me a case that the manual said should have been there. I would have paid extra for a case. Eartips for life too. BUY!

Gave four stars vs five because while advertised an 8 hour charge time, it only holds for 6 (which is still good, but not as advertised). Sound quality is excellent and ear buds very comfortable. If you're not wearing both buds, neck portion slides off. To stop falling just overlap the two wires around each other. All in all very good product. I've used several others and none come close. Would recommend these.
