Dont have to charge batteries

This charger just fits on bac and the doorbell actually attaches to it, never have to charge batteries if there’s enough sunlight

Ring Sola Charger

Same result. Never really charge my Rind doorbell. Instead it drained the battery that I have to remove the doorbell and manually charge the device. A bit disappointed with the product.

It sounds like the device is not performing as expected. There are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your Ring Solar Charger set up for optimal performance. The device's battery level may vary based on the amount of direct sunlight the solar charger receives. It is important to ensure that your Ring Solar Charger is installed correctly and that it is receiving enough direct sunlight to operate as intended. For best performance, Ring recommends at least three to four hours of direct sunlight for the Ring Solar Charger. With the recommended amount of direct sunlight, the device will remain continuously charged under most conditions.

Completed a review on BBB site as a complaint with this terrible experience. AGAIN-I am the customer and shouldn’t have to be contacting you to make this problem solved.
