This installment of Star Wars stayed true to Hans Solo’s character. The actor did a good job but he still doesn’t beat Harrison Ford.

I don’t know why all the hate for this moves comes from , it a pretty good movie and it tells how Han met chewie , my family loved it

How do you expect anyone to live up to Harrison Ford in an iconic role. This movie is a good story & a worthy addition to the Star Wars mythos.

What can you say about 42 years of great cinema? This movie continues the tradition and sends it to the future of the franchise.

Thought it was gonna blow just like The Last Jedi but boy was I wrong! Good action, good plot/storyline overall a great Solo orgin Story.

Like other Star Wars stories this one adds TONS of background info to not only Han Solo but the rest of the Star Wars Universe.

This helps filling in blanks of Han Solo’s past wheeling and dealing and how he got started with everything. Very cool a must see.

I thought this was a great film to add to the star wars cannon. Great plot to explain Solo's backstory. I really enjoyed it.

This movie is not as bad as critics said. Sad that it didn't do as well as expected, I was excited about the other origin movies.

Solo is fun once you get past the fact that Han isn't played by Harrison Ford. Much better than the overrated Rogue One, in my opinion.

I loved this movie explaining the origins of Han Solo...many aspects stayed true to the old Legends in their own way. Good film.

I had the opportunity to watch it in the theatre and the movie was excellent. The quality of the movie is excellent in my 4K tv.

Yeah, this film had a troubled production history and is a bit inconsistent. Is it great? No. Is it fun? Yes. I liked the characters but I think the movie tried to show every incident ever mentioned as being in Han Solo's past and that bogs it down a bit. Still, I enjoyed the actors who played both Han Solo and Lando Calrissian. For most people who don't collect ALL Star Wars movies, I might recommend this as a rental though.

I thought it was fun, although the story was dark. I've watched it two times since I bought the disc and the movie holds up.

I know many think it is a black eye to the franchise, but it was really enjoyable and fun if you take it for what it is.. and Lando rocks!

Not really a bad movie if you don't think of it as part of the rest of the Star Wars films. Timeline events established in earlier movies is ignored and warped -- Solo does not fit nicely in the timeline we all know. But the biggest disappointment is I almost never feel like this is a younger version of the Han Solo we all know and love -- as opposed to Ewan McGregor who always feels like a young Obi Wan Kenobi

Even if you are not a Star Wars Fan, these extra films in between the core series are a must and stand up well on their own.

Han has all his cocky charm and Lando is as smooth as ever, a perfect origin story for two of the main Star Wars characters.
