I really enjoyed this movie. I thought the actor portrayed Han well but the look was way off

While not entirely necessary, this was a fun side Star Wars story. Give it a shot!

I love the star wars Sega I crew up watching it and it show how he became Han Solo

This movie is not good. Although, I was surprised at how much I did enjoy Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo. He wasn't originally my favorite pick for this role, but I think he kinda pulls it off. The problem is the story is just incredibly lifeless and uninteresting. It's like a really bad paint-by-the-numbers exercise where the screenwriters scoured every bit of dialog in the original trilogy for anything related to Han Solo's back story and created a list which needed every scrap or detail needed to check off. Of course they included a ridiculously bad "kessel run" sequence that had almost no significance to the story whatsoever... and was over within a couple minutes. Even the Millennium falcon's lifeboat made no sense plot-wise. It was just there to make the ship look a bit different for a while. Some things just need to be left to the imagination, but Disney just can't pass up the blatant cash-grab.

Great movie about Han and Chewbacca. I would pick this one up for your collection

I was not expecting much from this movie since it was based on Hans Solo, which I consider a boring character simply because he is not a Jedi. Regardless of my disappointment, it's still fun enough to watch once, but I would only buy this if it's on sale or you're a fan of the series. Blu-Ray version is cheaper, however the 4K looks amazing!

The Best Buy limited edition collector's steelbook is a must for any Star Wars fan, with the Millennium Falcon placed front and center in all of its glory, representing its scruffy-looking nerf-hearder that we all love. "Solo: A Star Wars Story" is a fun story, but that's all it is: a story in the Star Wars universe. It didn't add anything to the main Skywalker story line as provided by the "Rogue One". If you love "Star Wars", it's a must. If you like action-adventure, you'll have a good time. If you're looking for a good story with a Star Wars background, you might be disappointed. With regards to the 4K disc, it's decent not great. However, there is a noticeable uptick from the Blu-ray. This especially comes at an advantage during any given wide shot of the film and tiny details become clearer. For those of us who like the Star Wars scenery, 4K is a much better visual experience than Full HD. I would recommend the 4K over the standard Blu-ray format.
