This movie is a great story, giving the Star Wars fan a look at the life of Han Solo.

Oh what can I say about this movie as a Gen-X'er who first saw Empire Strikes Back in the theater when it was first released. Well this one isn't as epic as any of the original movies but what it does a fair amount is help develop some of the original characters while tying in a certain crimson crime syndicate from the larger universe stories. There was at least enough comedy relief to balance the more serious stuff which is one thing I really liked about the original movies. While I'm sure you can find those that will point out the weak points here and there all in all it wasn't Episode I bad and if you are a new fan or an old fan like me I think this one is worth the price of admission.

Very good movie, good learning the life of Hans Solo before the saga

This is a very good movie. Makes a great addition to my movie collection.

If you enjoy Star Wars at all you will enjoy this one too. It a must see.

I didn't go to see this movie in the theater because I didn't think it was going to be very good. Nor did I think this movie really needed to be made. Han Solo is a beloved character in the Star Wars pantheon and I didn't want to see a movie with someone unknown actor doing his best Harrison Ford impression. But I have to admit that I enjoyed the depictions of young Han and Lando in this movie. It was also great to see how Han met Chewie and how he obtained the Millenium Falcon. After dreaming about what the Kessel run could possibly be for decades I have to admit that I was disappointed by what it turned out to be. But the bottom line is that I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is pretty good. It is definitely entertaining with a lot of good action and comedy. Picture quality on the disc is excellent as well as the sound. There is an especially good bass hit at the end of the train heist scene.

You would think by now I would be tired of all these Star Wars movies. No!

I’m a big Star Wars fan but the movie is okay. Won’t give it any less stars though.
