I have to admit that I was a bit iffy about purchasing this movie because of all of the recent debacles of Star Wars franchise movies that have been released recently, with the extreme swing from Star Wars cannon. But Ron Howard's directing certainly saved this film from that, and I certainly am looking forward to a sequel to this movie if Ron Howard is directing it.

I know that you've probably read many criticisms of Solo: A Star Wars Story. I understand anybody who says they were expecting a life-changing experience, but, honestly not every single Star Wars film has to be mind-bending, some are just fun, and this one is FUN IN SPADES. That's why it's worth getting the Steelbook and the 4K. Well done Mr. Howard, well done indeed.

Film much better than what I expected. My initial expectations were based on the previews and trailers. I was pleasantly surprised with the plot of the story, in addition to the ensemble of cast put together in making this picture: Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Paul Bettany (The Avengers), Donald Glover (Atlanta), Jon Favreau (Iron Man). This cast works well together in making this film.

This is one of the better Start Wars movies. The movie is interesting and answers/raises a lot of good questions about the Star Wars universe and life in general. It is one of the better Start Wars movies. It is along the way of Rouge one a little too much violence for the under 10 year old crowd. But over all a great film to add to your Star wars film collection

Everyone that I talked to about this moive said it wasn’t good and don’t bother with it. But you must come from the mind set that this is a new author and producer and director. That their style is different. Then you will in enjoy the moive. It’s good I gave it 5 because I like all the Star Wars movies and this may not be the best it’s still better then open water.

My experience was great. Once I saw the Facebook advert for the Solo exclusive for Best Buy I had to have it because I love that film. Ordering online was easy and I waited patiently for the release. Once I received the email to pick up the DVD I had a very fast and good experience. Everything about it was great and customer service was great. I will do it again.

Solo is not the best movie but it's still a good movie to show the background of the galaxy's famous smuggler, Han Solo. There are little tie in here and there throughout the movie that make it more understandable how the movie fits into the original collection. Still worth buying if your a true fan of the Saga

I read the poor reviews while the movie was in theater and decided to wait for the DVD release. The movie was poorly written and as a result, felt like it just dragged on. The ending is disappointing but I won’t give it away. Let’s just say you have to not only follow the movies but also the cartoon to understand it which I originally did not. I had to YouTube it to understand.

I really liked it. I know it's not the best in the whole franchise, but no one really expected it to be, nor wanted it to be. For the story it was, I was really happy with it. It is the only movie in the franchise I did not make it to the theatre to see--sadness!--wish I had. I do feel that it was not as younger-kid-friendly/family-friendly as the other films.

Although it was not directed by George Lucas (I wish it was), the movie still delivers the tone for Star Wars Universe. Characters did a nice job replicating the young versions of Han and Lando. The story set the stage for how Han ended up going to Tattoine and getting involved with Jabba. Not bad.. but could be better if the directors follows the footsteps n style of George Lucas.

While Solo is a fun film to watch, it feels like a stand alone story that, with few exceptions, lacks any firm connections to the Star Wars franchise. Although the actor playing a younger Han Solo gave an admirable performance, he did not channel the performance of Harrison Ford. If you watch Solo with a stand alone story in mind you won't be disappointed.

Like most people, I thought a Solo movie was unnecessary. I still would have loved to see you either original version with the original directors, but the movie that we got was an entertaining movie to watch on a Saturday night. The highlight of the movie was of course, the Kessel run. I think folks are a little too harsh on this one. I would recommend it.

I've loved all of the limited edition steel books so far but this one was seriously the worst quality. The pictures on the front and back were extremely pixelized and there was no 3D texture like on previous steelbooks. It did not match any of the previous Star Wars steelbooks in style either. Just go with the regular version of the movie as the case probably looks better anyway.

For reviews like this I am never sure if I am supposed to review the product itself or review Best Buy's service. I am reviewing the product itself; Best Buy was great. This movie, unfortunately, is where Star Wars's breakneck production schedule starts to catch up with them. This was the first Star Wars film to be a "flop" (in terms of box office numbers). That's saying something, because episodes 1-3 were pretty bad, and were carried by the power of the Star Wars brand. Now, in 2018, I think consumer fatigue is starting to set in. This movie is not amazing, and I don't recommend that you go out of your way to see it. For a really funny review of what's wrong with this movie, look up "Honest Trailers: Solo" on youtube. I will borrow a funny quote from that youtube channel. They say that Solo is "a feature-length presentation of Han Solo's wikipedia article". I actually forgot that I pre-ordered this movie before I saw it in theaters. So when it was released on blu-ray I had already paid for it. Oopsie. I probably would not have purchased it otherwise. Oh well.

While the five Disney Star Wars films only have Rogue One and Solo being great, at least we have two! Rogue One is my favorite, but Solo feels the MOST "Star Wars" like, if that makes sense. Great film that fits in with the continuity unlike the sequel trilogy, and adds to the overall narrative. Cannot recommend enough!

This movie got a lot of hate from critics... they are wrong! I get it, there was some things they put in that was stupid, for example, did we really need to know where the surname Solo came from? No... but they put it in there anyway... otherwise the action was so good, the plot was solid, and the visuals are amazing! the Kessel Run scene was unbelievable!

This review is for the SteelBook, not the movie. I don't normally purchase SteelBooks, but this one was too unique to pass up for a Star Wars fan. Best Buy did a nice job of creating a great SteelBook that makes you feel like you are looking out of the Millennium Falcon. And as per usual, it was delivered in pristine condition and was packaged very safely.

Look I realize "nobody asked for this", the Lorde and Miller problems, etc all set this movie up quite poorly but the end product is actually GOOD. Solid star wars/action movie. The kid isn't Harrison Ford but he is actually super solid and you don't think about it. The relationship development with chewie is great. Overall, very surprisingly solid movie

When I first saw the trailer my first thought was “Why?” But after getting dragged by my little brother to go see it....I was pleasantly surprised by this film it ended be leagues better than the last Jedi and one of my favorite Star Wars movies ever. so I’d definitely recommend you see this movie whether you rent it or buy the SteelBook just go see it.

I bought this movie because I am collecting all the Star Wars movies. I do not want to give anything away so I will not give any specific comments. The story line was OK. Not the greatest. I just do not feel that the choice af actor for Han Solo was the correct person. I feel acting was not the greatest and that affected my feel of the movie. Over all movie good, acting bad.
