Like my summary says not bad but not great. I might watch it again when I forget the story.

So I wanted to see this in the theater but the 'bad reviews' kept me away. Boy that was a mistake! Glad I own it now and my first time watching it was awesome! The movie is actually quite good, impressive, and enjoyed the story a TON! Given the poor reception though it's unlikely to see the continuation of the story but you never know...

I’ll admit I had extremely low expectations for this movie due to all the negative attention. That being said what a fun movie! While it may not have been the backstory Star Wars fans wanted, it was pretty darn good. Lots of action, really funny way better movie than "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" which wasn't all that good in my opinion.

You can read a review of the movie anywhere. We all have our opinions of these offshoot movies from the main SW story lines but the 4K version of this disc is outstanding. I found the color balance and ease of menu use made this a great addition to the collection. You will like the extra material too.

This movie is a basic origin story of everybodies favorite scruffy haired character from Star Wars Han Solo. I was expecting to be disappointed due to all the negative reviews the critics gave this movie but was pleasant surprised to have been entertained for most of the movie. It is definitely a good movie to watch on a Friday night with a bowl of popcorn.

I went into Solo not really having high expectations, it went above and beyond in delivering. I thought that the story told was more entertaining than Rogue One a couple of years ago. It has a strong cast as well. If you are thinking about watching this movie, don't think about it just watch it, see for yourself a good Star Wars film.

So I actually enjoyed Solo. Yes the actor is no Harrison Ford. But for a story about Han's past that didn't effect the larger Star Wars movies it was an enjoyable ride. From Han showing off his piloting skills, to meeting Chewie for the first time, it gave some insight into what Han was like before he joined up with Luke and Obi-Wan.

When I first heard about the plans for Solo, I reacted very negatively. I didn't feel the need to have a standalone story about young Han. I'm happy to say I was wrong. The film was entertaining and definitely added much more to the Star Wars canon instead of just being a blatant cash-grab. Definitely worth it to give this one a look.

This film was not necessary, but upon watching it, one can be glad it happened. It is not necessary to view to understand the saga of Star Wars, but instead gives a bit of insight of who Han Solo is and where he came from. Why is he a loner? Why does he have trust issues? Can he speak Wookiee as well as understand it? The Steelbook is gorgeous as well!

I pretty much love anything Star Wars. I like how this story glimpses at Han's past as part of the Imperial "Navy" and how he met Chewie. I really enjoyed how the story was able to connect to the original trilogy. Only reason it's not 5 star is the "robot rights", while it is hinted at through the other films there is times it does seem a little much

When I first read about this movie I thought I wasn't gonna like it and that "the only person who could play Han Solo is Harrison Ford" but I finally gave it a chance and I was proved sorely wrong. Great cast and writing. Truly for the diehard star wars fans and fanboys. Amazing origin story.

I didn't have high expectations for this film. I thought it would be stretched out and kind of boring but full of typical Star Wars stuff. Apart from a boring opening (which is also way too dark and hard to see) the movie takes some really fun turns. Sure, there's a lot of "Han is doing that thing he always said he did" but it's still a blast to watch.

Most Star Wars fans have wondered where Han Solo came from, with this film we find out. For the most part the movie is pretty good although for me I couldn't say it was one of the best ones, with that said there were some decent moments to be seen here. If you are a Star Wars fan you're probably going to enjoy it, some will like it more than others.

I thought this movie was a great addition to the Star Wars franchise. It was well acted and the plot was excellent too. The reason this movie didn't do as well at the box office was because of its release date, not the content of the movie. It was released at the same time as Infinity War. This is a very enjoyable Star Wars film.

Solo was a very enjoyable Star Wars Movie. A great cast with an engaging plot. I really loved it. I do not think every Star Wars movie has to or should be an epic huge spectacle. Solo has it's great moments but it mainly stays as a fun action flick. And the origins of Han, Chewie, and the Millennium Falcon are executed very well.

Don’t listen to the impossible-to-please fan boys, this was a good movie and worth watching. Audio & video rank among the best in the series and should be enjoyed on a capable home theatre system. The steelbook itself is beautiful! I did in-store pickup on mine and it didn’t have so much as a scratch on it. Highly recommend!

Star wars fan for life, just didn't think this was a good movie to much story that wasnt needed

I do not understand how this movie was disliked by so many people when it first came out. I personally think it was a very good movie. They picked great actors to fill the roles. I wish they would remake Episodes 7 through 9 and hire the director from this movie instead to make those.

As with all the movie steelbooks, spread for the extra couple of bucks if you are a casual collector. It doesn't offer any more in terms of content or knick-knacks but the steelbook covers offers nice artwork different from the mainstream copies. If you're a SW fanatic, wait for a super-duper scooper edition that will undoubtedly come down the line.
