I enjoyed this movie. Watching at home on Blu-ray was the first time I had seen this movie. I know that the movie was criticized during its theatrical run, but I enjoyed watching the movie and getting more of the back story of the main character. Sometimes I think people don't watch movies just for enjoyment and pleasure.

Just because its not part of the Skywalker storyline, dont pass up on it. Its great, fun, and entertaining. Its Han and the Falcon. Yes there are parts of it that can be improved, but you must remember that its not by the same team anymore so there will be differences and tone. Plus its not about the force but a smuggler.

Could have been mutch better if they have casted the right prison for the role

The 4k resolution is beautiful with a highly satisfying dynamic color spectrum. The steelbook has a glossy finish. The artwork on the front, back, and inside of the steelbook is great. The inside of it is my favorite. It shows the cockpit of the falcon. It was worth the hour drive to pick up this gem.

Growing up on Star Wars was not sure how this was going to play out but loved the cast they went with and they pulled it off. If there is ever a sequel, need the character to be developed more towards the darker, scoundrel side like Harrison Ford portrayed from the Cantina scene in Star Wars forward.

Some movies I like to have hard copies of. It feels nice to have the blue ray on the shelf rather than just looking it up in some online service... I really only buy Star Wars, marvel and disney movies as hard copies but this one seemed worth it. Additional commentary features were ok but I wouldn't buy just for that.

There has been a lot of negative talk about this movie. Peolple need to suspend belief and accept Alden as a younger Han Solo and then everything works out fine. A great sci-fi action movie that can stand on its own, but fits well in the grand scheme of things...great addition to the Star Wars canon!

I've been excited for this movie since I heard it was coming around the time episode 7 was released. It covers so much back story while not boring you with details that don't matter. While we all love Harrison Ford this young Solo does the character justice. This is a great addition to the universe.

Solo is a fun movie. Not every Star Wars movie needs overarching plots and schemes involving the Force and some over choreographed lightsabre duel. What it gives you is a good origin story that covers the major story points you know about Han Solo and it does it wrapped up in a space-western caper.

The big screen release of this film suffered from the backlash of a jilted fan base that was still stinging from the terrible 'Last Jedi' story line produced by Rian Johnson. Ron Howard's treatment of this film saved the franchise. Someday he may get the credit he deserves, and so will this film.

After hearing some word of mouth reviews I decided to give it a shot. It wasn't as bad as some had told me nor did I think it was the greatest movie ever made - I thought it was enjoyable. The actor playing Han didn't quite nail the character - probably should have done more research watching Harrison Ford's portrayal.

Finally, we get to see how Han and Chewie met! How about Han and Lando? Who was Han's love before Princess Leia? What does planet Corellia look like? What did Han do before he became a smuggler? How do you make a Space heist movie? All of these questions are answered.

Another great movie for young and old. I grew up with Star Wars when I was a teenager. The first movie was great as well the ones that followed. This is a well needed one to give Hans Solo his origin story. Great buy with the disc and digital copy. Packaged well, protects the disks quite well.

While not everyone was excited to see a prequel focusing on the character of Han Solo, some may be surprised to find that the film itself is quite fun. If you’re a fan of Star Wars, that is. Some may find it predictable and pointless, and at times it is, but ultimately Solo is a good time in a galaxy far, far away...

This is truly a fun sci-fi movie about the early life of Han Solo. The story line is consistently with the original "Star Wars" story and all the characters look similar enough to be believable, especially the Lando character wow! Yeah, it's a good movie! Watch it, you won't be disappointed at all!

This is Han as a youth and developing into the person Harrison Ford played. You see him as optimistic and adventitious. There is a great plot and plenty of action with a love story. It is fast paced and engaging. There are a few plot twists that are unexpected. The characters seem well developed.

Despite the bad press during this movie’s production (original directors were fired and replaced with Ron Howard), Solo comes off as a fitting origin story for the famed smuggler and his Wookiee pal. It’s got action, plenty of trilogy Easter eggs, and a super-smooth Lando. Definitely worth a watch!

I really REALLY enjoyed this movie. It was just a fun action-packed family friendly flick. Ron Howard made a gem and the casting director really got it right. Awesome special effects and a very creative story = I didn't miss a second of this movie, I guess I liked it. Anyway, a wonderful watch.

Unfortunately, this will not go down as one of my favorite Star Wars films...especially unfortunate as the I love the original Star Wars Han Solo (before Lucas watered him down). However, that said, this is a competent addition to the Star Wars series. I especially liked the love interest and the portrayal of Lando.
