Due to all the negativity with The Last Jedi and the change of director's in this movie I didn't have tremendous hopes for Solo. However I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't too serious, but it was fun. Definitely worth a watch for any Star Wars fan and even sci-fi fans should enjoy it.

As for the movie it is ok, but no one can be like Harrison Ford.

The scene where Han and Chewie meet is fantastic and the return of another cool character that was originally under-used was a nice surprise. I hope they continue with new Han's adventures. Special features are fairly comprehensive but not as robust as The Director and the Jedi was for TLJ.

Han Solo has always been my favorite star wars character. The story line is superb revealing the history of Solo. 4K has excellent picture - very vivid and sharp with lots of details. Audio is fantastic immersing you into the movie. This is what you would expect from 4K.

I love Star Wars, not so much Disney's Star Wars, but this was one of their better films. I wasn't thrilled to hear they were making a Han Solo film without Harrison Ford, but it worked and I got over it. The SteelBook was a nice addition.

If you have not seen Solo you are missing out on a great movie! Don't listen to the haters. Normal "star wars level" acting but the action and story line, specifically about the millenium falcon, is great! Plus, surprise endings are always a plus! Definitely recommended!

I think that Disney needs to slow down with making these non-trilogy movies, but they are trying to milk that. I thought this movie was decent considering firing he director and bringing in Ron Howard. I think people are just getting tired of so many Star Wars movies coming out each year.

While it would be easy to make comparisons to the original three Star War movies and not be impressed - I would prefer to see it as providing a fun and entertaining introduction to the Solo character. The acting was good and the action was non-stop. This is a must have for Star Wars fans!

It truly starts at his beginning ,not his early years as a pilot of the falcon.. but how he became the pilot of the falcon and how hw won it.. some people think this is all about the Falcon and Han.. Its how they all merge, Chewie , Han and the Falcon... A fun watch..

I liked the movie even though some critics did not. my complaint is with the look of the film. when i saw it in the theatre I thought it was much too dark and I was hoping that it would look better on 4 k. it does not. scenes do not look sharp and backgrounds look muddy. expected better.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is a fun film with great action, interesting characters, and cool aliens that fit nicely in the Star Wars universe. This is the story of a young Han Solo whose story could actually continue to a sequel if ever given the opportunity. Fantastic extras on the Blu Ray.

My belief is we are all so hyped for a new Star Wars adventure that when we get one it can never meet expectations. Having seen this in the theater I can say I enjoyed watching it on the small screen more. It is better in my opinion than how it was treated upon release.

I was overall disappointed. I enjoyed the movie, but the cinematographer's decision to keep the picture so murky dampened my enjoyment of the UHD transfer. I continue to be disappointed with the audio mixes from Disney with their UHD releases. The film earned these 4 stars, not the disc.

Another fun Star Wars movie that isn't part of the Skywalker saga. Events mentioned in other Star Wars movies are brought to life as Han and Chewy's backstory is told. This one should be in every Star Wars fan's collection!

This was one of my more favorite NEW Star Wars movies. I didn't feel that they tried too hard and over did it with the acting. I wish the other newer Star Wars movies were like this one with the acting. Overall it was good and entertaining so definitely worth the watch at least once.

Lots of people bashed this movie, but I thought it was pretty good. Left it open for sequels but sadly not sure if that will happen after it doing worse than expected. Only downside is the steel book edition doesn't follow the same style as the other star wars movies.

with solo, you get not one origin story, but no less than 4, you see how han got his start, the birth of the partnership with chewie, where han knew lando from, and how, exactly, han won the ship that became such an icon of the starwars universe, the millennium falcon.

great movie! it gives a detailed look into the background of Han Solo's origins and how he met Chewy and got the Falcon. Action packed and kept me engaged through the whole movie. Has Dolby Atmos so makes it even better

This movie story is okay and great action and little humors. I love Star Wars and fans well. Obviously fans are happy to keep revisiting the bellowing Wookiee and the warp-speed dashes through the wide beyond, and satisfying as it is, Solo gives them what they want: more of the same.

I have to admit that I was a little leery of trying to watch a younger iconic version of Hans when it obviously could not be played by Harrison Ford. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. This was a great storyline and makes me want to watch more involving this newer cast.
