I really liked this movie. It is so refreshing to have a Star Wars movie with a beginning and an ending. Also, lately the star war movies have been plagued with actors that were so atrocious it ruined the movie.this movie avoided doing so.

For all of the troubles this film had it is surprisingly good. It's not great by along stretch, but not terrible as some ranters have claimed. There won't be another one, I dare say. I was disappointed the extras did not even acknowledge the original directors or how the film changed.

Was hesitant to buy the 4K without having seen it prior... Not all movies are 4K worthy in my book because of the price difference between 4K and blu Ray... but very happy with the movie and the 4K is awesome... I’m also collecting the steel books so that’s a plus...

I love all the new Star Wars and I am a die-hard I saw the first one in the theaters in the 70s you just got to have an open mind and just enjoy the ride as they fit in the storyline with today's societal idiosyncrasies etc. Fun, action, comedy....formula = STAR WARS

Ok, was this as awesome as Rouge One? Nope. But was it as bad over all as many have said? Not to me. Now, don't get me wrong, the entire Kessel run was a let down. But the story around Han and Chewy was a lot of fun. Now I need to go and re-watch the animated series due to the ending.

Not great but good, could have been anyone but they through the name Han Solo on the main lead. Chewy and Han meeting, I had thought it would have been different. Not as good as Rogue One but better then Episode 8 and a good setup for another outing but probably not going to get that.

I’ve been a fan of Star Wars since the original episodes 4-6 came out in 70s-80s. The prequels were just “ok” and he newer episodes 7-8 are decent. Solo is just like Rogue One. The movies are ok with average storylines. At the end, it’s still Star Wars. One either likes it or not.

Though not Rouge1 ... SOLO clearly accomplished its mission to provide insight and details on Hans evolution from young man to the scruffy nerf herder ;) honestly, hopefully it's not a stand alone like Rouge 1 and hopefully people see more than once ... grows on you

Solo is a decent take but clearly suffers from the various director, story updates and we really didn't need all the little tidbit references but in general it's a good story and enjoyable to watch. Rogue One was a better Star Wars Story but none the less this is still enjoyable.

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes close to how Lucas envisioned Han & Chewie meeting up, but this slight take on the story ended up being better than I thought it would be. The movie itself is worth a look. The added extras are fine & they don't run to long to bore you.

The best presentation of the best Disney Wars. Sure, there's fan service, but for once we get a movie that doesn't just re-create scenes from the original trilogy. Buy it, and maybe we'll get The Spice Job on Disney+.

Solo isn't your typical Star Wars movie although it does have a few characters you know and love. Finding the origins of Chewbacca, the Falcon and Lando makes this trip worthwhile. Even better, the blu-ray, while good, is made better by a great selection of extras.

It's nice to see what made Han Solo today, since the first introduction in Star Wars: A new Hope. How it all began and what made him changed his mind & life journey to became an ex-empire pilot to assist the resistance. I enjoyed how it played out, so would you.

Sure, it's Solo without the real Han. There are some decisions made about the origin story that will never work for me (someone else just randomly naming him and dismissing him). But, there is a lot of great stuff through out. When they're not trying to show you every part of his origin is when the movie is at its best. It's dark and grimey and without lightsaber (the same tech in different weapons appear). As a dedicated Star Wars fan, I liked it quite a bit. It's stumbles here and there but it's not easy to tell that they reshot half the script for a director swap. However, it should've come out at Christmas - 6 months from The Last Jedi. It's still a fun movie that almost everyone who liked Rogue One will enjoy and was written by the man that really made Han in Empire.

I can’t believe we have an origin film for Star Wars characters. It’s great! I personally loved Solo. The Kessel Run. Donald Glover as Lando! Solo is fun if you’re a Star Wars fan. I know die hards are harsh on this film. But I personally loved it. Solid film. Beautiful steelbook!

I did enjoy this film but for those looking for something epic, you won’t find it here. The 4K transfer is solid but slightly underwhelming. The steelbook is worth it and has some nice artwork on the inside covers. The discs also have some nice images too which adds to the package.

I bought this to keep the Star Wars section of my movies up to date. I didn't know what to expect when I started to watch it. It gets better as the movie progresses. I think Rogue One a better because it leads you into Episode IV: A New Hope. 'Solo' is still a good movie to own.

First, just a disclaimer that I love all the Star Wars movies and this is no exception. Plenty of action and good special effects. Solo helps fill in some gaps in my understanding of how Han became the character he was in the later movies. I'm sure I'll watch it several more times.

One of the lesser outings in the Star Wars saga, but an under rated venture. SOLO provides backstories of Han and Landau which fills in the gaps left by earlier movies. Very entertaining as well of you don't expect too much.

Solo didn't get great reviews initially but it is a movie that is very entertaining and certainly gets better every time you watch it. If you are a Star Wars fan or just want to be entertained for a couple of hours it is a great choice and certainly a lot of fun.
