I’m a fan, but I think that this is a boring movie

Why the mixed reviews? It is a good movie. Action packed movie. The story flows well. It thought it was great. Consistent with what George Lucas wanted in his first Star Wars movie, a movie for kids of all ages.

One of the lesser outings in the Star Wars saga, but an under rated venture. SOLO provides backstories of Han and Landau which fills in the gaps left by earlier movies. Very entertaining as well of you don't expect too much.

I'm not sure why this movie received such poor reviews. I really enjoyed learning about Han's background. The blue ray video and audio qualities were fantastic. You can never go wrong at Best Buy with the quantity available as they are always stocked well.

This movie was a lot of fun to watch, and falls inline with a typical Star Wars picture. My only grip is that most of the movie scenery is very dark. The picture is good (not great) and sound quality is amazing and you with this version you get both 4k and Bluray Discs.

They didn't need to make an origin movie for Han Solo and I had zero faith in it and expected to hate it. To my surprise, I thought it was pretty fun. I don't love it, but I did think it was a pretty enjoyable adventure. And young Lando is great.

Absolutely great addition to the Star Wars movie collection. Great additional features/featurettes in stunning HD quality! The sound is absolutely impeccable! Loved watching this in HD & the goodies when you submit the digital code are superb! Good movie!

I was hesitant about this due to another person playing Han. I was greatly surprised by the incredible story, direction and scope of the movie. It is easily my favorite since the original 3. The train scene was like nothing I have ever seen; breathtaking!

Honestly the only problem I’ve had with the movie is the tittle... “A Star Wars Story”.... like it’s not true? Like hon made it up? Come on Disney wake up and be definitive with the Star Wars UNIVERSE! Other wise case is fantastic and the 4K is perfect!

Solo was a pleasant surprise. After so much negativity surrounding it, it turned out to be an incredible addition to the Star Wars story. This set comes with plenty of great special features that make it worth the price tag (as if the movie itself isn't).

Really enjoyed the movie and it's throwback to character origin stories. If you are a true fan of Star Wars than this one doesn't disappoint. I like the direction that Disney has taken the franchise thus far and look forward to more films like this one.

While not the best Star Wars film ever, this one is a fun to watch heist movie, that brings the origin stories of some of the beloved characters from the franchise to life. Looks great in HD, and really looking forward to watching the 4K transfer soon.

While not 'competition' for the 'main' episodes in the series, keeping the Star Wars 'universe' alive by exploring various 'back stories' and 'extensions' to the original episodes keeps old fans entertained and brings new fans along into this epic saga... Good Stuff...

Solo: A Star Wars Story is another winner in the Star Wars series. Enjoyed it very much, as we have all the other Star Wars movies. I try not to compare each movie to the others and just look at them individually for what they are. Good entertainment.

Solo is a much better Star Wars movie than it was given credit for. The real backlash it received should have been directed towards The Last Jedi. The fact is, it was that movie that made so many Star Wars fans not see Solo. Give it a try. It might actually surprise you.

I had low expectations for this movie due to the reviews and poor box office showing. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. Alden Ehrenrich was pretty good as Han and Donald Glover was a great Lando. It was a fun movie that is definitely worth a watch.

For the diehard Star Wars fans it’s a toss-up to own.

The steelbook release for this movie is gorgeous and the movie itself looks great in 4K (though a bit dark - not a flaw on the part of the video release however). The movie itself is fun - though nothing groundbreaking. Certainly at least worth a watch.

This movie gives you amazing non stop action with matching special effects. Perfect blend of story and action scenes. Also provides you with some of the answers as to how Han Solo came about and the significant role he has played in the Star Wars Saga!

Always go to Best Buy to pick up movies they day they are released so you can get the best selection, plus you get the best price on the day of release. Paid what I budgeted for and will be watching soon. No streaming movies in my house. We only use real physical media!
