I thought it was and excellent movie, but of course, some will not be happy with it while others will like it. It could have ventured further into Han's origin but it did contain most of the most important previously knowns while being entertaining.

I love how this movie has the feel of a completely different movie within the star wars universe. In a good way. Also love how the story includes so much that is included in the storyline from references he made in the original that started it all.

Don’t let all the negative reviews from to so called experts keep you from this fun ride - the special effects alone are enough to purchase this movie for. Solo has a solid storyline and gives u everything u would expect from a Star Wars movie.

So despite all the negative feedback this was not that bad. There was action, there was some comedy and it was Star Wars! Don't expect a Harrison Ford. Just watch it and enjoy it for the Star Wars Universe. This is a great film on surround sound!

The film had so much bad press I was wondering what was so wrong with it. It isn't a great movie but it was an interesting backstory to one of Star Wars biggest characters. Worth watching even if it doesn't measure up to the previous installments.

I love anything Star Wars related. They keep getting better. Before you know it they will want to do the 1st 3 over again, so the quality & actors can age the right way. (that's episode 4-6. Not 1-3 They really could be done over}.

no this is not Luke Skywalker in "A New Hope" But its a good movie none the less. I've been a Star Wars fan since 77, Seen all movies, tv specials, cartoons, read 90% of the books..... is this the best no, but its still D@&n Good!

The reviews and ratings weren't the best for this movie. But all in all this is a pretty good film. Some slow and confusing parts, but the pieces fit with the characters that we all know and love. Would recommend watching and judging for yourself.

The steelbook is a fun acquisition that is a step above just the regular casing. A collector's item. I enjoy Ron Howard's approach to this self standing movie. It gives insight to the backstory of Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Lando.

I was skeptical about this movie and didn't catch it in the theaters but Ron Howard did an excellent job telling the back story of the Galaxy's greatest scoundrel. It started off a little slow but picked up and is a very good Star Wars story.

While I didn't go see this movie in the theaters, mostly due to the less than flattering reviews I read, I wish that I had. It was very entertaining and filled in a lot of the unanswered questions about Han Solo. It was well done.

With the SJW invasion and hijacking of my beloved Star Wars, I was hesitant to buy this. A couple of my friends said it was pretty good so I rolled the dice. Glad I did, the whole family (including my normally non-sci fit liking wife) enjoyed it!

This is a nice package featuring a unique entry in the Star Wars saga. This movie reveals the origins of Han Solo and his comrades, featuring most of his history mentioned in previous films. A fun caper flick and very nice in HD.

I had heard that this movie wasn't great but I was pleasantly surprised. It was better than I thought. The acting was decent and Woody Harrelson was actually great in this. It has the feel of a Star Wars movie, but it could also stand on its own.

No one is ever going to be able to replace Harrison Ford as Han Solo. This was a film that is largely a setup for things to come, or not based on the lackluster box office, so Star Wars fans need to just take solace in the nostalgia of the movie.

Yet another great installment in the Star Wars story! A must have for any Star Wars fan to add to their collection. Great mix of sci-fi, adventure and comedy that is the formula that’s sustained this franchise for generations.

The 4k quality is just OK. There isn't much improvement versus the blu-ray to justify the price difference. For that matter, it's not much better than streaming. The movie itself is just OK. I think the biggest problem with Solo is the Actor portraying Solo. He's just not believable as a young Harrison Ford. He looks nothing like him. The acting is poor and the story jumps quickly. He's in love in the beginning and then he's really not?? As a sci-fi flick, it's entertaining. Special effects are sub-par. IF you are going to tackle the Star Wars franchise as a Director, you better bring your A-game. This isn't an A-game effort. It's more of a C-grade. That can ruin one's career.

I really enjoyed the movie. There’s a lot of hate towards it but I had a good time watching it. Thought the acting was great, the story was great. It was a breath of fresh air from the trilogy storyline that’s currently going.

I’m not sure why this film received so much hate during its theatrical release. As a huge Star Wars fan, I loved this take on the Han Solo character . It’s not rocket science. It was fun and filled with wit. It was well done.

I saw this in the theatre, so I knew what I was buying. I'm a long time Star Wars fan and saw the first one "A New Hope" in the theatre 13 times when I was a young teenager. I loved this movie! A must have for all die hard fans!
