The technical specs, packaging, and presentation are all top notch (woul dyou expect less from Disney for the Star Wars cannon?!), but as most all are aware of the saga of making this film, it wavers between excitement and hot mess throughout. You can tell Lord/Miller were shooting for an action-comedy, heavy on the comedy -- and Disney "stole" it back, brought in Howard to level it out a bit, and it feels cobbled, forced, and contrived in its need to tie up loose ends and explain much more than what it has/needs to. That's not to say there aren't some wonderfully fun sequences, and the supporting cast (led by swanky, smarmy Glover) is game.

The movie got a ton of criticism for its production troubles, but it's actually one of the best fan service Star Wars side stories they've made in recent times! This 4k UHD steelbook edition looks great on my 4k tv!

Saw this in theaters and was surprised as to how enjoyable it was. Nothing too crazy, no signs of lightsabers, but Donald Glover as lando is a plus and new adventures in this world are always great to watch

This stand alone Star Wars movie, directed by Ron Howard, was very fun, exciting, well acted, and a worthy addition to the Star Wars collection. I don't understand the negativity surrounding this movie, I loved it.

This movie was a throw back to when there was less CG in movies. There is some but the characters are the main focus of the movie, not the CG. a refreshing change. Chewbacca is timeless, he never ages it seems.

Once you adjust to different actors playing iconic characters and stop comparing them, it is an enjoyable movie. The second time around is easier because you can just sit back and enjoy rather than think about it.

Easily the second best installment of the recent Star Wars Movies. Acting and writing we’re spot on without the cheesy flying princess or over use of CG.. ignore any bad criticism on this , certainly worth the buy.

So, I know a lot of people didn't give this movie a second look, but this was great. It was way better than it had any business being. If you're a Star Wars fan and missed this in theaters, definitely pick this up!

ehjoyed the movie - especially the 4k picture on my sony 900f. tv. play stopped 2 times - not sure if a disc problem or the sony 4k player. have not rewatched yet to see if it happens again. tv and player up to date on software.

I saw this movie at the theater and I really like the action pack. This movie have a great story behind it too. Plus, it different than the other Star War movies. It like better story with action and good CGI too.

I found this 4K movie with the rare slipcover on it. Always go into the store to make sure you are getting the slipcovers on the movie if not you may just get the movie.

This movie is an origin movie much like Marvel's origin movie gender and involves Hans Solo Chewbac and how he became a pilot. The plot is good and the action doesn't slow down. Good escape movie for the weekend.

So I like that they went with just the Millennium Falcon as the cover. My biggest complaint is that the back cover image (and the cover image a little bit, too) is really grainy and just seems low res. That shouldn't be a thing.

The movie was pretty fun. It got a lot of criticism, but I'm not sure why. As far as the 4k disc goes, the 4k is beautiful, but I was a little underwhelmed by the sound/atmos, as is the case with a lot of disney movies recently.

It's the standard Blu-Ray package for movies these days. Couple of bonuses that are entertaining if that's your thing, and then the movie itself looks good as you would expect. Plus you get the Digital HD code to use as well.

I have been a hardcore Star Wars fan for most of my life. I did not think this movie needed to be made, but it was, and it was just another adventure in the Star Wars universe. Nothing special, nothing awful, just a mediocre movie with really dark colors used to cover up a rush job on special effects. The blu ray is a great addition to my collection and this movie is probably a better "Star Wars" film than The Last Jedi. If you are a fan of Star Wars I would definitely recommend enjoying this movie knowing that it is just a big, fun, space adventure and fun for all ages. However, it was not the best Star Wars movie nor was it the worst.

The steelbook is cool. This was not the best film in the franchise, by far, but was still entertaining, and being a Star Wars fan from the beginning, I had to have it in my collection. I do love the steelbook design. Very cool.

I love this movie. I think it’s a great heist movie and shows a different side of Han that we haven’t seen. Donald Glover’s performance as Lando was amazing as well. The steelbook is also great I love the design!

I know it did not do well in theatres, but give it a chance. It tells the story of where Han Solo came from and how he became a smuggler and also ended up with the Millennium Falcon. lt has humor and great story!

So I know this film gets a lot of flack, I don't think its deserved. For everything this went through in production, it turned out fantastic! A great addition to the Star Wars canon.
