the camera work was a little dark for me

Barely better than Last Jedi...

Starting with Force Awakens the films have had a safe, corporate aura. And boy does Solo continue that tradition. It’s unoffensive, easily consumed, as it was designed to be. If that’s all you ask out of your Star Wars nowadays go right ahead and pick this one up.
