doesn't have that star wars feel, I'm pretty disappointed

I’d argue this is the first misfire of the franchise.

extremely boring, unlikeable characters, shot porly.

Seems the consensus is this was an ok movie. What I saw seemed to paste on the SW where needed, but otherwise, seemed like a generic movie at best. Honestly, the guy looks nothing like Han Solo imo. Seems like a cash grab only.

I saw the movie in the theatre and was disappointed. I bought the Blu-ray to complete my Star Wars collection. Tried watching it again, and couldn't sit through it. Fell asleep twice.

Bought this in 2020. Just tried to play it for the first time this week and it does not work in any of my Blu Ray players.

The movie was not that good. It didn’t feel like it was a Star Wars movie. Looked like it was a “low-budget” flick. If I can return this DVD I would.

They should have stopped with the first (middle?) three. Very predictable and uninteresting.

Just a very bad idea from the start. So many better stories to tell.

This one is a mixed bag for a Star Wars movie. I did enjoy it and the storyline, but some of the dialogue was poorly written. Action was decent and characters were good, overall. I do have a problem with the droid helping the young Lando Calrissian. The dialogue is awful on it and the whole thing about a droid seeking "equal rights" is just a stupid segment to even begin with. Ron Howard is a decent director for the most part, but at times this movie lacked it for his caliber. The actor portraying Han Solo was good, but not sure they cast the best one since this is 10 years before A NEW HOPE. There we see a much more aged and mature Han Solo with Chewie. The overall storyline was decent as it is the ongoing Empire vs all planets that don't want to be ruled by them with fighting taking place, etc. The 4K looked fairly good on the non HDR 4K TV in the Sony 4K player. I do have to say that HDR may add more black levels to this, so you may have to adjust for that. Menus are good with sound and commentary to choose from, etc. Special features are good. I do recommend, but find a good price for this one if you don't have it already. The ending of this movie was my favorite part of it where Han and Chewie (now owners of the Falcon) take off for a planet called Tatooine to see a crime boss, Jabba The Hutt.

Would not play in my blue ray, will be returning for a refund or credit
