The latest Star Wars movies have been ok, but I should be expecting more then just ok from a franchise such as Star Wars. None of the "new" Star Wars movies have come close to the originals. Episodes 7 & 8 are just telling the same story that has already been told. The cuteness needs to come out of these movies to be better. Get George back in there. Overall this was an ok movie.

Solo is excellent origin story about han and brings a new look into the star wars universe without jedi or sith.

Better on the second or third watch. Problem is the titular character just doesn't have the right "voice." If he was playing anyone else, it would be a good, fun movie set in the Star Wars universe. But especially on the heels of the Force Awakens having brought back the original Han Solo, this one never stood a chance.
