My position requires a fair amount of travel, so I was looking for something to replace my backpack (something more "professional/business" looking.) Main requirement is that it had a "come along" strap so I could hang it over my luggage handle. While this bag does have that, it lacks a few things I should have noted. My backpack had a small, zippered compartment inside the secondary storage space for small things (flash drives, etc. . ) that you don't want flopping around in one of the main compartments. I never realized how useful that was till I didn't have one. The Studio bag does have small compartments inside the storage area that's closed with a Velcro flap, but being the small storage area is not zippered/closed in any way, there is nothing to keep what's in there - in there. On top of that, the compartment that is covered with the Velcro flap has about a 2" gap at the top (hard to describe, but easily seen in person.) These things combined means that there is a chance small items can fall out even with the flap closed. Maybe not a huge chance, but I don't want to bet on that given how many times my bags are moved about under my seat in an airplane, in a taxi trunk, etc. . . Other than that, seems durable enough - though I've only used it for a few months at this point. Overall, I cannot downgrade it for something I missed. I consider it a lesson learned.

I purchased this case about a month and a half ago and have traveled with it on numerous occasions. It has good storage space and numerous pockets for my laptop and accessories. HOWEVER, the seam on the shoulder strap is (for me at least) in a position where the bottom of the strap is constantly scratching my wrist. I've adjusted the bag several times but have no had a huge amount of success in avoiding the scratches on my arm. Easily alleviated through wearing a long sleeve shirt, but still a problem.

Good bag for quick trips to office or flights. Size and weight are positives. Other colors would be nice.

So the compartment where the laptop goes it really nice. I have a lot of lose thread and in the back where I can put papers and everything else it does not have a lot of room. The front campartment where I was putting my charger was not a lot of room for other things. But the best part was the protection I felt I had for my laptop from the cushion.

This bag is not the most fashionable or feature-filled bag out there, but for a price like this, it's got all the essential pockets and space you'll need for your laptop and accessories. Great for when you really need a bag for travel, or if You're just starting out and don't know what all you'll need.

I started a new job and needed a laptop briefcase to travel without breaking the bank. Solo's briefcase was exactly what I was looking for. It has room for the laptop, files and my Ipad.

I bought this bag for my alien ware laptop. But my laptop is still too big. Still use it since it's a sturdy bag and the laptop is heavier than a normal size laptop.

I got a bigger laptop and that was the only option in the store at the time it does the job without having anything special.

This was my only option for my new 17 inch laptop. Yes it does protect my laptop. Reason for the 3 stars is the warranty on it. Only manufacturing defect are covered. If a seam comes undone or the material starts to chip away its not. To me this wasn't worth 50.00 that's why the 3 stars. I wont say yes or no to recommend but it requires me to. I selected yes however use your own discretion.

I love keeping my calender, iPad, camera and a few other accessories readily available in this bag.

This case is pretty average no extra's will probably upgrade.

It has great storage space and the area where the computer is stored is well padded for protection. What I don't like is the weight. Although I just bought it, I'm looking for a lighter one to replace it.

Recent upgraded to a bigger laptop, and it didn't fit into my old bag any more, so had to get a new one. This one was reasonable priced, and the padding on the sides seems adequate. But unlike my old Case Logic bag, this one doesn't seems to have much protection around the edges and does not have a rigid shape. I could not deform the old CL case from the sides even when empty. This was is easily crushed when empty, which does not bode well for when the laptop is in it. So, while this bag is fine for toting the bigger laptop around, it does not afford a whole lot of protection. Spend the extra $$ for a better bag if you're rough on your laptops.

the side zippers under the pouch on the outside come loose too easily and loose items might fall out as you are walking. I tried securing the zipper itself with a cable tie to keep it from moving too much and it worked for a little while but eventually the zipper itself was pulled from the "teeth" so now one side is completely open and won't close at all. Aside from that, it's a useful bag, holds my laptop, my iPad, keys, phone, and other items i need for work.

It is a good bag, but not for me, so I returned it and bought another lighter one with more stylish looking that fits female better since the laptop is already heavy, I don't want the bag is heavy too.

I didn't like it, but it functions as described. I was looking for a replacement bad for my laptop. This one does as it should nothing to write home about.

I like the different compartments so the computer is by itself and it is easier to find paperwork, cords, cables and cordless mouse in other pockets.

Lightweight and with a shoulder strap included. Lots of storage.

I need a laptop bag and I bought one. The best thing I like about this bag is it was cheap and on sale.

Nice bag but didn't have all the pockets my husband was looking for. Still very nice.
