Solty Rei is a good anime, and has something in it for everyone. It has its lighthearted moments, its action moments, and its overly-serious moments. The story is set up well, and the backstory of the anime is developed well and reveals itself at a nice pace. The voice-acting is pretty good, as all the characters seem to have appropriate voices. I throughly enjoyed this series from start to finish, but the one thing that bugged me were the characters. All of them are pretty common stereotypes. The deep-voiced action guy, the geeky scientist, the thief, etc. All of the characters have a 'been there, done that' feel to them. However, dont let that stop you from checking this series out. Highly recommended.

I just really love this anime! They have good voice acting, especially in English. I just love how the tension builds up and it will hit you hard. They have good contrast on the characters' relationships. When it gets sad, it's sad. When it gets funny, it's funny. You might not get some events at first, but you will get it once you have "that" certain episodes. The bonus episodes, it's really uplifting. I'm so glad I bought this anime. This is a really must have; give it a chance even if you're not a fan of futuristic anime.
