Wanted a bigger and nicer looking TV stand for my family room. I looked at the high end ones like Salamander and BDI and, boy, those are way too expensive for my budget. Found this one on line and saw that it was also available from Best Buy, so, I choosed to purchase from Best Buy for a few bucks more since I can easily return/replace if there are problems. Overall, this is a very nice looking TV stand with adequate room for my stuff. I have a full size receiver, FIOS box, Blu ray player, CD carousel, an XBOX 360 and a ROKU. They all fit with plenty of room. Assembling this thing took about an hour or a bit more. I did not time it and I was in no hurry. The instructions were easy to follow and the pieces were marked for easy identification. My only gripe is that the darn thing is a little too shallow. I wish it would be about 2 inches deeper. Let me explain why. I have an old style receiver and an old style CD carousel. The rear of the receiver has speaker plugs that take banana jacks. They extend about an inch +/-. Now the banana jack is also about an inch. When connected to a decent size speaker wire, like a 12 AWG, you will also need another inch since you cannot bend the wire right where they are attached to the banana jacks. All in all, after I plug in the banana jacks, it adds about 1.5 inches from the tip of the speaker plug. What happens is that the receiver now has added depth and you cannot open the "sliding door" because the front of the receiver protrudes out!!! Originally, I had the receiver on the left side (there are 3 sections). My solution to this was to move the receiver and CD carousel to the middle and then removed the back in the middle section. This way, I the stuff extending out from the receiver could stick out the back and I can push the receiver back so that the front doesn't protrude out to block the door from sliding. Lucky it doesn't look too bad and lucky that the rear panels are in 3 pieces for left, center, and right rear. If you have old style components like me and are using high-quality wires, measure the total length of your components with the wires first before purchasing this.

TV stand is very nice and sturdy. It is however small for our 80 inch TV although advertised to be for this size tv.

Very nice unit. Put it together with my wife. Messed up the first time and had to take some pieces off and do again. It looks great and is the perfect size for my new 75" Samsung TV. The TV is exactly as wide as the unit so I would guess that an 80" might have an overhang. If the 80" TV had legs on the sides, that might not work. It has two sliding doors. One door slides perfectly, but the other one sticks. That is why I say you have to put it together perfectly. My guess is that some of the connections (nuts/bolts) are ever so slightly out of alignment, and once put all together, it is causing the door to stick Still, a very nice unit.

The finish is very nice. Just the right height. Three individual sections for placing Blu-Ray, cable box, whatever with two sliding doors. The only thing I would change would for it to be a little wider. Also, no fault of the furniture but had I known the soundbar blocked the TV LED I would have gotten a stand where the soundbar could have been on the lower level. But the stand itself is wonderful.
