Songs of Experience – U2. A very melodic collection finds Bono is great voice. This album is not an atypical U2 effort (I know; as if there is one!) but once you read the extensive liner notes where Bono explains why he wrote this material, who and what inspired him to do so (and more) you will appreciate the CD even more. I will not give any of that away here but it is a “must read”. TIP: I wish I had read it prior to playing the music so I highly recommend reading before playing. It explains a lot about this collection of 13 songs. After playing this latest release, I went to play the second CD of their greatest hits collection that contains the “B” sides (which also has many melodic tracks that I often wondered, “How did this not make the last album?”).

Great cd. U2 is amazing. Highly reccommend. ....go buy this.

It’s not often that you buy an album and absolutely sync with it on the first play. This was one of those exceptions. Loved it from the first play and the greatest band in the world definitely don’t disappoint. Well worth the investment wether you’re a fan or not.

I’m a U2 fan. This is a decent album, but enjoy listening to the other albums before this one.

The U2 song selection reflects back and it's a nice change form the other most recent collections.

A few songs are strong, but many weak ones. Bono still has some juice.
