A fusion of blues and hip hop. Strong lyrical content with political movements and heart felt stories of struggling to keep a family moving through current times. The beats and the lyrics flow well beyond what was expected from the House of Pain front man. The cover art seemed a bit typical, with overly charged graffiti shouting out LA.

Great CD, I own most of Everlast's albums and this one is the greatest so far. I enjoy his mix-up of rap, rock and country in this album. It's perfect for those who have an open taste in music and for those who know what a hard day's work really is.
