A history lesson of music from around the US. And then some great Foo Fighters songs. Can't get much better then this.

I have only watched two of the four DVD's so far. The first two were more of a history of music. It was interesting but not going to watch it multiple times. Hopefully, the last two disks with have concert footage and more music.

This set allows one to look into the inner makings of a brilliant group of musicians, who respect where music has had it's inception, where it has been recorded, performed, and the inner workings of different regions, on how it has related to the sound of each style.

Dave Grohl is a true musician. He constantly challenges himself and the group to get better. These eight episodes of him and the band traveling across the US learning about American music is fun to watch. If you are Foo Fighter fan you won't be disappointed.

Even if you do not know the Foo Fighters, this is a must see video for any music fan. After watching it, you will be a fan. Great concept video of the bands music influences. Really enjoyed it . Wish there were more episodes coming in the future

after watching the first Sin City movie, i wasn't too sure if i wanted to buy this sequel. but, i am very happy that i did. it's very well done, imo.

Amazing documentary! They go thru so much musical history, and you learn quite a bit! Must watch for any music fan! Must buy for an Foo Fighters fan!

Foo Fighters take you on a musical journey of 8 American cities to get the stories of how these cities inspired musicians that grew up there, creating their new album Sonic Highways as a soundtrack. Would have liked to see more recording footage but great overall DVD.

This was one of the best music-based series I have seen. Dave Grohl succeeded in bringing local Music scenes to the entire country.

Really enjoyed the Food Fighters - Sonic Hwys. I would recommend this the Austin cut was the best.

The Foo Fighters are one of my favorite bands. i thoroughly enjoyed this well done movie.
