This is how you do a proper sequel. If you loved the original sonic on sega genesis, you'll love this. The developers did an amazing job on the level design and music score.

Sonic mania is a great game I love watching my son play something I play with all the child myself it’s nostalgic and even more fun then I remember must buy

I wasn't a big fan of the 3D sonic games. I'm glad they went back to the original style. Great gameplay and music. My new favorite Sonic game

If you like sonic for the sega you're gonna live this. It's pretty much the same style gameplay with some revamped levels. My girlfriend loves this game and she loves all old 2d games. All the levels have more depth and more paths as well. Would highly recommend to old soniv fans

Must own if you ever liked sonic. It’s $30 dollars well spent with the little extras you get and the game is full of nostalgia and fun.

Sooo good!!! I honestly thought this game would look horrible playing it on my 75" Samsung, but WOW, the graphics were stunning considering the age of the software, the upscaling and higher resolution really payed off and it shows! Me and my wife played for an entire half a day, had a BLAST!!! Dear i say it, It was actually more fun then most my One X and PS4 Pro games, I forgot how good we actually had it as kids! Just get it, lots of fun and enough reply value to keep you busy for Months to come! ;)

This game takes everything you loved about sonic and creates a new exiting experience, plus the two new characters are pretty cool!

This game reminds me of playing Sonic 3 a lot, and that’s a good thing! Whenever I play it I feel like I’m tapping into my 10 year old self playing Sega Genesis in my bedroom at my parents house. The gameplay is so familiar but new and with enough twists to keep you on your toes. This is definitely the definitive version also, the whole game just flows better with the small things they added. And Encore mode is amazing! The new characters kinda break the game a little, but in a fun way for returning gamers.

Sonic Mania is the best Sonic the Hedgehog game in years. It is a remixed throwback that also throws in a few new levels. You'll play classic zones like Green Hill , Chemical Plant and Hydrocity. The new levels are some of the best 2D Sonic Levels ever created. The Mania plus content is good too. Mighty and Ray are both fun characters to play and the encore mode is unique. The Art book I got with the Physical copy was cool but not a must have. Sonic Mania is a must if you enjoy classic video games.

Very affordable way to revisit the days of playing Sonic and having the luxury to take it on the go with the Switch.

It's the Sonic game I always wanted! 16 Bit graphic style, amazing music and addicting gameplay I'm going fast!

Fans of old school Sonic rejoice! This is exactly the game you were waiting for, from the music to the physics and the graphical style this is exactly like the Genesis games we all grew up on and is in many ways better. The plus version of the game just makes it that much better and with this physical version you get a cool art book and a reversible cover themed after the Genesis ones. Truly an excellent deal for an excellent game and a must for Sonic fans.

For the lovers of the classic game. Sonic is back. It's a great project showing care and love for the original sonic. I waited for a physical copy to own and am so happy I did. It's well worth the price for everything included

I have not/did not play the original Sonic Mania, but I highly recommend this game, especially if you experienced the original games. It's great to see the iconic characters live on. The different game modes are fun and multiplayer has been great. Encore mode is a nice challenge. I love the variety of characters you can choose as well. Recommended for any Modern/Classic/Adventure Sonic fan or a fan of momentum platforming in general.

There's not much to be said about this game because it is just 100% worth the buy. If you've ever played Sonic and know how addictingly frustrating yet fun it can be, then this is literally the purchase for you. I can sit on the couch and play this for hours. I personally find it most comfortable in handheld mode, for some reason I don't like the way the pro controller feels with this game. But all around, endless fun with this game.

This is the quailtiy sonic forces should have been. Takes me back to my childhood and my old genesis

If you like the original Sonic games on the Genesis, you can’t really go wrong with this. It’s a nice mix of everything you like from the originals with some surprisingly cool new additions. Plus the price is great!
