Customer Ratings & Reviews

You ain’t a true Sonic fan if you don’t grab this gem for your collection. This game is simply one of the most loving odes to the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. It’s almost like a tear came to my eye when I saw how it seemed that the developers put so much love into it. I ordered this for the Nintendo Switch and when the Best Buy Associate brought it out to my car curbside, I had to ask him if he made a mistake, because the game case looked much larger as if for Xbox or PlayStation. It turned out that Sega included a special concept art book with the game and the traditional Nintendo switch cartridge case was enveloped in an additional cardboard case with artwork of its own; this was really just marvelous imo cuz they didn’t have to do that. I was a bit disappointed when I read the comments about all content not included in the cartridge, as others state in recent reviews, but it’s not like you download a completely separate application and have to access the content through a different icon on the switch home, the dlc is downloaded from shop and it’s almost as if the cartridge itself is being updated. For me it’s no biggie and the download was incredibly fast and space efficient. Of course, I could not have asked for a better retailer from which to buy this game. Best Buy never disappoints with their amazing deals, and I got this truly wonderful collection of over 16 games for an incredible price. It was almost like a dream come true.

Great ports of all the classic sonic games, if there were any version of these games that I would recommend, it would be this one, everything remade with amazing physics and gameplay. Must have if you're a classic sonic fan.

Packaging and included artbook are nice to have. Great games and awesome box art serves well as a nice piece to have on my desk.

The game came with an artbook and a code for DLC. I really enjoy it. It has two modes where you could play in the original quality or HD quality. I've been looking for a good Sonic game for my Switch and this is it.

so much fun so many memories playing sonic 1 2 and 3 plus never getting to play the other games so much nostalgia

Did not dislike anything about this. Was a for sure buy, not something youll play everyday but it is fun for couples and families.

Great game. I already had it digitally but wanted a physical copy. If you already dont own it it's definitely worth it.

Best way to play original Sonic and on the go since the nintendo switch is portable, amazing soundtrack and beautiful pixels, Sonic CD has one of the best opening songs ever.

Great way to revisit the classics. Bestbuy was the only store in my area with a physical copy of this game.

Sonic 1,2,3&Knuckles, CD & game gears games. Great throwbacks.

If you loved playing SONIC on the old school consoles back in the day. You will be even more elated now that the FUN is now available on your state of the art gaming consoles of today!!! With 120 FPS!!! Vrrrooooommmm!!!

Inalready own it on xbx, digital. I really wanted the physicla version for switch!!

Came in good condition, and I’m looking forward to playing the original Sonic games

Definitely worth playing if you are new to the sonic franchise or are brand new, still able to play the original or with the QOL improvements. Many things to do and it's worth playing with a Nintendo switch

Overall the collection is very good with updated graphics to support widescreen. New characters adds challenge to game. Only gripe i have is is Sonic 3 soundtrack is not the original music for a few stages. I'm sure its the Micheal Jackson licensing thing exciting. Most won't notice or care but it was something that stuck out

Great way to try out the classic Sonic games, especially if you are into 2nd platformers. Those who are not used to 2nd Sonic games can still be able to enjoy this collection with its easy accessibility!

Nintendo Switch Sonic Origins Plus is released inside an outer cardboard packaging and comes with 16 CLASSIC SONIC GAMES W/ NEW PLAYABLE CHARACTERS & INCLUDES REVERSIBLE COVERSHEET & 20-PAGE ARTBOOK! Truly Awesome! With hours of fun games that you can play over and over again. A Must Have!

Good game. I like physical copies as it gives a more satisfactory collection

Love Sonic the Hedgehog and his glory days of the 90’s? Look no further than this game for the nintendo switch. Yes, the mainline sonic games have been rereleased plenty of times before, but how many times have you been able to play Sonic CD? Yes, this has Sonic CD. The original is worth a lot of money today, but with a purchase of $40 dollars. But wait, theres more. This purchase comes with multiple Sonic games that were locked away with the handheld Sega Console from the 90’s. Also, we get to play as the four main heroes of the Sonic franchise in their awesome retro look. I have no tegrets with this purchase be ause this takes me back to my cjoldhood. Thank you, best buy for having this in stock
