Good movie for, all the family and friends of my kids

We thought it was better than the first Sonic movie.

The second time for Sonic is still good. Not all sequels are bad.

Sonic 2 takes from the original film and only adds to it. From what started as an original movie about a live action Sonic, that had a hated CGI model that was doomed to infamy, ("Ugly Sonic"). The movie is genuinely fun to watch with a great cast including Carrey, Schwartz, and Marsden. This movie, paralleling the original games, adds Knuckles (Elba) and has a lot of iconic scenes. The movie looks great in 4K with Dolby Vision and sounds great with Dolby Atmos, really reference quality material here. Hopefully, Carrey chooses to come back for a third film in the future, this one is that good.

The movie looked fantastic, colors popped and the cgi was solid. There was less side character human story which was great, but there was one drawn out sequence involving a wedding which honestly shouldve been cut. Better than the first overall, the addition of tails and knuckles is wonderful. Comedy can be hit and miss, and im not sure how i feel about sonic being a son, but man this was a visual spectacle. Hopefully they can make this a trilogy.

This is a fun live action family movie. I enjoyed this movie better than the first one and Jim Carrey is even better in this compared to the first. Overall, for a video game themed movie, it has natural images and the landscapes are gorgeous. Dolby Vision makes this a very nice transfer. The Dolby Atmos audio mix also makes this a wonderful listening experience. For picture quality, I'll give this an A. Audio mix scores an A as well.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 continues the great foundation the first move laid. Awesome family fun all movie long. You can tell they really tried to do right by the game franchise and listen to fan feedback. The 4k transfer is really well done and is very evident comparing to the regular bluray included. Noticed very little noise. Overall a very fun movie and a well done 4k transfer

The film was fun. Unfortunately, I don't believe it lives up to the first film. Still worth watching on occasion in my book.

Sonic 2 is a fun movie that adds in more characters and a bunch of crazy moments. The only complaint that I have for this movie is the human character's story is not good at all (especially during the wedding). That being said, I still think this movie is great for the entire family with great performances by newcomer Idris Elba as Knuckles and Colleen O'Shaughnassy returning to voice Tails. Bottom Line, if you liked the original movie, you'll like this one.

Not as good as the original and my kids didn't like it as much

The Sonic movies are very well done and worth the purchase in my opinion. My family loves them and we have watched them multiple times. I am kind of old school so I like to have hard copies of things. Getting the Digital to go with the disc was a nice bonus.

I found the first film to be fantastic family-friendly entertainment, so I was floored for this one. While I did not find it to be as good as the original, it comes as a close second (and anything with a reigned-in Jim Carrey is a winner in my book). As for the disc itself, the transfer is first rate, as is the sound. If you are on the fence, just buy it!

This film series truly gets better and better because of the love and care for the character of Sonic and his friends. Not to mention that Jim Carey is truly one of the greatest choices to play Dr. Robotnik.

this movie was better than the first one and it expanded more in the sonic universe, if you are a fan of the show and you havent seen this yet i am sure youre going to have a blast! its a nice family kid friendly movie

This proved to have so much fun and heart. I payed the video games since I was kid and I truly believe this was a special treat. Plus seeing Sonic and Tails together makes this as one of my favorites.

as a Video Game movie genre many have failed but Sonic creators of this movie, was just great just a tiny bit on the human story but Sonic and Tails and bringing Knuckles i can wait for the 3rd one.

Watch this movie. Buy the combo. Its a great movie. Solid comedy and a fun feelgood movie. Any negative reviews I worry about their outlook on life as a serious bitter person lol.

If you enjoyed the first movie, you'll enjoy this one a good bit. Knuckles is a good addition to the movie. It is a good movie but for some reason it does not come with a bluray disc. Not sure why pirchasing the 4K would not come with that disc but it is something to be aware of.

The first movie was okay but this one improves on almost everything and feels way more like a sonic movie with more of the characters from the game having a bigger role.

I love this movie. If you are an early 90s kid such as myself it brings back childhood memories. Great buy for old Millenials and fun for the kids to watch
